Making love is not just something that is limited to the physical intimacy that exists between two alone. It is also very much about the actions before and after the physical act, as well, in addition. Therefore, there are some things to never do after sex, and this is especially true if you care for the other person deeply that you have just been close to in an intimate way.
- Don’t rush into the bathroom right away
Getting up from bed and rushing into the bathroom after sex is not a good idea. This is because it may not sit, to well, with him or her. Most people do like to get up and take a shower after being intimate, check their appearance, or even brush their teeth. It’s just more friendly to stay laying in bed with your partner a while just after being intimate.
- No actions that aren’t hygienic in nature
Lovemaking is a very close and private act between two people. However, there are limits, and these limits state two people should have certain etiquette, after being so close and intimate together. Therefore, this means nothing gross or disgusting in behavior, such as scratching or picking their nose, or even passing gas and not saying excuse me.
- Don’t check your mobile phone
Never go and check your cell phone right after having sex. This will be sort of insensitive and kind of make your partner feel a bit neglected. If anything, you should turn the phone off before sex and leave it remain off for a little while after having sex. People do check their phones and this is a okay, but not just after having sex. The intimate moment with your partner is important and you should want to respect that as much as possible.
- Don’t turn on the television
If you want to get up and watch the news or your favorite TV show right after sex. This may not be advised. This is because you may appear to be a bit insensitive in light of the intimacy you have just shared with your partner. So, with this said, if you do have to watch television right after sex. You should ask your partner to join you in watching and the both of you watch something together that you can enjoy as a twosome.
- Don’t brag about how great you were in bed
One of the worst things that you can do after being intimate with your partner is very clear. It is virtually tooting your own horn as a lover in the bedroom. Sure, it’s normal to feel superhuman in bed, we all do at times. However, bragging about yourself can be not so good, as it may make him or her literally want to cringe. Therefore, it is far better to openly compliment your partner, and then maybe he or she will compliment you back.
- Don’t not want to cuddle
When two people get close and intimate. It is good to be open to want to cuddle after the sexual act is complete. However, all some couples want to do is go to sleep, and they roll over in bed. This is not highly recommended to do. It is far better to hold each other close and gaze into each others eyes lovingly. It’s a wonderful moment to bond after making love. Two people should indeed lay in each others arms and talk about the future together.
- Don’t get dressed to leave
If you get up and get dressed to leave right after having sex. This can indeed be taken as being insensitive and just in it for the sex alone by some. Therefore, if you do care about your partner, stay with them for a while and let them know how you feel. Don’t just up and go. This is not only insensitive, it is uncaring, and also rude. Lovemaking is not a task that someone does and then just leaves. You want to bond with your partner and the only way to achieve this is by sharing that bond in a loving way.
Your behavior is something that your partner does value a great deal after intimacy and even fore intimacy. However, some people do tend to take other people for granted, and they also end up acting sort of boorish in a way. This can only destroy an future intimacy that they may hope to have together. So, with this said, do remain on good behavior if you value your intimacy and closeness with your partner. Don’t do anything to annoy your partner right after having sex. Do everything to charm him or her in a loving way.
