Ebraiding.net/eNaturals will be hosting its 7th Annual Sanata International Hair Braiding Magazine Launch Event.
The Sanata Magazine launch event will take place from 5 to 12 am Saturday, November 1, 2014 at the Sheraton Columbia Town Center Hotel, located on 10207 Wincopin Circle in Columbia, Maryland.
There will be an after party from 9 to 12pm. Admission for the event is $45 for general admission, and $60 for VIP tickets.
VIP tickets include complimentary wine and hors d’oeuvres. All attendees will have access to an array of hair and fashion designers exhibiting unique garments and apparel spanning the cultural gamut from chic to couture.
The launching event will consist of dining, music, vendors, hair shows and the unveiling of volume seven of the Sanata International Hair Magazine.
The event, which also includes a spectacular hair and fashion show, will be hosted by Stylist and The Golden Scissors Awards founder, Glynn Jackson.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to comingle with fashion and beauty experts, industry professionals, and browse the latest products for healthy skin and natural hair care.
The natural hair and braiding shows will be presented by Nafy Diagne of Rally’s Hair Braiding located in Largo MD; and, Shanti Walker of Madam Walker’s Braidery & School located in Temple Hills MD.
Those who were present at last year’s event, and who experienced the show stopping hairstyles, can attest that attendees will definitely be in for a treat.
“DJ Harvey Lee” will be on the wheels of steel, and attendees will enjoy an after party featuring live entertainment.
Ebraiding.net/eNaturals is making an annual tradition in the Washington, DC area by holding the event in celebration of the premiere of each new Sanata Magazine.
The new magazine – the Vol. VII 2014 edition – will be another great blend of natural hair and hair braiding styles/salons, along with useful articles on hair care.
Concerning the purpose of the event, Ebraiding.net General Manager Sahande Sy stated, “We believe beauty starts within. Nothing makes a woman more beautiful than the belief that she is beautiful, and that’s what we want to encourage, celebrate, and promote.”
Proceeds from the event will go towards the ebraiding.net/eNaturals.net Women Empowerment Project, WEP.
WEP enables women around the globe to fulfill their educational goals and professional growth through vocational educational centers, literacy programs, training and placement.
