Everest from Good Mews Animal Foundation in metro Atlanta has a special message that he posted on the Good Mews Facebook page earlier this week:
Hello – my name is Everest. I am in a foster home because I am a baby, but I will be making my appearance at the shelter this Saturday! I am finally big enough to find my forever family. I am really excited about this because I hear forever families are fun. I was told they play with you, and give you lots and lots of toys. They feed you yummy food and treats. And best of all, they let you snuggle with them at night. That sure sounds like a dream come true. So be sure to come to the shelter this weekend. I will be there on Saturday with my five siblings.
I was also want to tell you about our August adoption special called Scoop up the Love! When someone decides to adopt, they will “scoop” their adoption fee out of a litterbox. All fees are reduced. And here is the best part. At Good Mews, kittens are always two-fur-one..$125. But during the special, if you adopt two kittens, whatever adoption fee you scoop will be the fee you will pay for both kittens! Wow!! Oh yea – one more best part. At the end of the month, two lucky adopters will win a prize! So be sure to come to Good Mews this weekend to find your new best friend! Hopefully it will be me!!
Everest is a three month old male domestic white short haired kitten and is available for adoption. The following is some additional information about him from the Good Mews website:
Good Mews found this litter with their mom at Cobb County Animal Control. We couldn’t leave such a great group behind. They are all sweet, playful kittens with lots of energy. They love any type of toy they can put in their mouths. They also love to wrestle with each other until they start to get sleepy. They were raised with another cat and were fine with her (although she was not fond of them!) and with a 50 lb dog. It took them some time to get used to the dog, but they are fine with her and seem indifferent to her presence. Everest is the mamma’s boy of the bunch. He loves to wrestle with his siblings, especially his tough brothers, but he will opt out sometimes if he thinks he can get some one on one time with his special person. Siblings: Artica, Alpine, Blanche, Wolf, Yukon

About Good Mews Animal Foundation
Good Mews is a cage-free, no-kill cat shelter offering an alternative to traditional animal shelters in the Metro Atlanta area. They provide a safe haven for homeless, abused, or abandoned cats until they can be placed in permanent, loving homes. Since 1988, Good Mews has placed over 7,000 cats in forever homes. The shelter receives no government support and relies solely on donations of time, services, goods and money from its many supporters and local businesses. Good Mews is home to approximately 100 residents on any given day – most of whom reside at the Shelter in Marietta, with some cats residing in foster homes.
