It took a great deal of time, but an adorable, bonded pair of pit bulls who were kenneled at the Fulton County Animal Services facility in Atlanta, Ga, were finally adopted on Saturday. The dogs were captured in an endearing photo which showed them snuggling on a dog bed at the facility – the image hit “viral” status on the internet that eventually resulted in the dogs finding a home together.
Today, another pair of snuggling dogs who are housed at the same facility are waiting for their happily-ever-after to happen. On Saturday, the Facebook page, Friends of Fulton County Animal Services, wrote:
If you are interested in helping by adopting, fostering, rescuing or simply advocating for dogs at the shelter, please consider Manny and Typhoon. Manny and Typhoon skyrocketed to fame months ago when images of them hugging one another in comfort went viral on FB. We had inquiries from all over asking how these dogs were doing, but sadly, no one came to rescue or adopt them. They do not need to go together.
They have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed and treated with flea and heartworm preventative. Their fame has dwindled and here they sit with no home. Below is a picture of them together.
The following information has been posted about the two beautiful dogs who are in need of a home…
9 Months old
Typhoon is very fun and playful. He enjoys playing with other dogs and would do well in an active household.
He is eager to please and should learn basic commands quite easily.
7 Months old
Little Manny is just a big baby. Like many puppies this boy is high energy and needs someone to spend time with him and teach him proper behavior.
Manny will make a great companion for many many years – come and meet him today.
Please take a moment to network on behalf of these deserving pups. Questions, adoption offers and rescue inquiries can be directed to:
