A Daily Word from the Word for Tuesday, September 23, 2014
“The LORD will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.” – Isaiah 58:11
Two weeks ago, my wife and I started attending a new small group entitled “Walking in the Miraculous” facilitated by a powerful woman of God. The Lord speaks mightily through this prophetic daughter.
I was blown away by the revelation brought forth, which helped me to tap into a new vein in God. The most recent desire of my heart was to break through to this new place in my Sovereign Father. In the Spiritual realm, I kept seeing this new disposition in God that was right there, I needed the strategy in how to access and step in to this new Holy Ground. I knew this workshop would help me walk in this new habitation—this place called “The Miraculous.”
A part of this revelation that was released in the workshop, which the Lord has built on for you in today’s message, is the following: “The miraculous is an outworking of God’s love. It flows from within. Every word must be spoken out of a place of God’s love. Jesus already gave us all the love we need inside of us. We must recognize it, allow it to penetrate our beings, and operate in it. In order for God to move in us completely, we must allow the walls to come down and allow stuff to come out. There are walls within us that we have erected which prevent the flow of God’s love from saturating us completely” (Prophetess Michelle Daniels).
Wow! What a Word! Such breakthrough revelation! To God Be The Glory! I started going back in my Bible and looking for all the places where God talks about watering dry places, and water and streams coming forth so I could experience them from this new place in the Father. This newfound knowledge also caused me to look at our study verse from this very different vantage point. Instead of seeing this Scripture from the outside in, I now see it from the inside-out, which makes for a more powerful, remarkable, and miraculous force of God’s amazing love!
Let us now read this verse from the inside-out: “The Lord will guide you always” from inside of you! He of course guides us externally, but He also guides us from the inside. “He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame.” Again, from within. Our “sun-scorched land” is all of the dry places within us where the waters of God’s love have not been able to reach completely because they are blocked by the walls we have built inside of us. “You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.” Again, from the inside-out!
What walls in you need to come down, family? Do you still have walls of unmet needs, hate, rejection, pride, prejudice, abandonment, other unhealed hurts, jealousy, unforgiveness, mistrust, to name a few, that are preventing God’s flow of love within you from reaching those dry places?
God will strengthen your frame from within once you allow Him to break down and through those walls you have built. And many people may not even be aware of all the walls still standing strong within. But God! But God! But God! But if you ask your Most Merciful Father to show you these walls and then tear them down, He will!
I did, and I was surprised at what He showed me which were still fortified in me; thus blocking the waters of His love from reaching those remote and parched places deep within me. I thought that I had allowed the Lord to deal with these strongholds, these strong places in me; but as I asked God to take me deeper in me, He showed me that these structures still stood strong within the deep and hidden recesses of my soul. So praise the Lord!
My Father showed me four walls: rejection, escapism, abandonment, and pride. And He then said when you take the first letter of each wall, it spells REAP. Wow! My first thought was that this had something to do with the scripture “a man reaps what he sows” (Galatians 6:7). But the Lord said “Not so. It has to do with dominion-ship, with taking authority.”
He then took me to the definition of “reap,” which is to “cut and collect” (Webster’s Dictionary). God then gave me a vision of me walking through a marsh overrun by thick and dry brush. I had a sickle in my hand (a curved tool used for cutting). I was swinging this blade back and forth in front of me on both sides cutting down and blazing a trail as I advanced forward. And the Lord said “You collect the spoils of that which you cut down by advancing my Kingdom. You can only advance by taking dominion. You take dominion by cutting down and trampling. You can only cut down those areas, those structures, those strongholds in you where you have access. You can only gain access by My love, which tears down every wall. My love will only access what you give me permission to access. The degree of your willingness to give Me permission to move in you determines the level of activation of the power of My love. And by tearing down those structures, I am able to water those scorched places in you, and begin to produce life, which then produces a mighty harvest in you and through you.”
Our Desirous Daddy promises that He will “turn [our] wilderness into pools of water, and dry land into watersprings” (Psalm 107:35). Our Faithful Father assures us that “Whoever believes in Me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them” (John 7:38). And our Wonderful Way-Maker refreshes us as He bubbles over: “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland” (Isaiah 43:19).
So what are you waiting for, my brother? What’s got you bound, my sister? Break through with the power of God’s love by allowing Him to be Who you need Him to be in you, through you, and in your life. Allow your Eternal Spring to saturate your dry places.
Father, we repent for holding back ourselves from You. Forgive us for not giving ourselves completely over to You. By the Power of Your Holy Spirit, help us to surrender ourselves completely to You. We want You to water every dry place in us. We call forth your Rivers of Living Water to have free reign and unfettered access to every part of us, to flow into and through every cell in our body, and every crevice, every nook and cranny, of our soul. Show us the walls that we still have erected within, and then tear them down completely, never to be reestablished again. In Jesus Name, we thank You that we are a well-watered garden because of the Greater One Who lives within us (1 John 4:4). Amen and Amen.
Take action! Challenge your thinking! Choose to allow God to identify those walls, those structures, those strongholds in you that need to come toppling down, because they are preventing the complete flow of His love from having free passage. Determine to lay yourself on His Holy Altar so that your Great Physician (Jehovah Rapha, the Lord your Healer) can perform the necessary spiritual surgery in you. And continue to fight the good fight of being well watered from the inside-out; for God, your Living Water, has already given you the victory!
If you have never received Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, I encourage you to do it today, right now, by saying this prayer out loud: “Jesus, forgive me for my sins. I am sorry. I truly desire to be saved and reconciled back to God, my Father, through You. I receive Your sinless Blood as payment in full for my sins—past, present, and future. I now call You my Lord and Savior, and invite You to live within my heart, and to permanently live within me. I make You Lord over me and over my life from this moment on. Amen.” Congratulations! You are now a child of God, made whole and made new, by the Blood of Jesus Christ!
