Brian’s exclusive forecast for Baltimore and Annapolis:
Rest of tonight: Mostly clear and quite warm with a low in the lower 70s.
Sunday: Mostly sunny and very warm with a chance of an afternoon thunderstorm. The high will be in the mid to upper 80s.
Sunday Night: A chance of a thundershower, otherwise mostly cloudy with a low in the lower 70s.
Monday: Hot and humid with a chance of an afternoon thunderstorm. The high will be around 90.
The extended forecast calls for hot and humid conditions on Tuesday with afternoon & evening thunderstorms. The low will be in the mid 70s and the high will be in the lower to middle 90s. Becoming sunny and less humid on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday with lows in the upper 60s and highs in the mid 80s.
High pressure in New England will continue to result in seasonably warm conditions in the Middle Atlantic region through Sunday. The high will shift southeast and become a “Bermuda high” on Monday and Tuesday. This will increase both the heat and humidity in the region with highs in the low 90s each day. A cold front will approach Maryland from the west by Tuesday evening, and thunderstorms are possible on Tuesday afternoon and evening. As the front pushes to our east on Wednesday, sunshine will return with lower humidity through the end of the week; however, it will remain warm with highs in the mid 80s each day.
