Ben Affleck said Jennifer Lopez’s butt is great and has no cellulite, Vanity Fair reported.
Affleck, who dated Lopez from 2002 to 2004, made the amusing revelation during a 2007 high-stakes poker game chronicled in poker-game hostess Molly Bloom’s new memoir, Molly’s Game.
Bloom recounted that Affleck and a group of celebrities had been playing poker at the Viper Room in Hollywood when celebutante Rick Salomon asked Ben, “Hey, yo, did Jennifer’s *ss have cellulite on it, or was it nice?”
Affleck replied after a brief silence, “It was nice.” Salomon, who is currently married to Pamela Anderson, previously starred in a sex tape with former girlfriend Paris Hilton.
Bloom said Rick’s off-the-wall question immediately broke the ice among the poker players. “The table laughed and the ice was broken,” wrote Bloom.
“These may have been larger-than-life characters playing with larger-than-life numbers, but at the end of the day, guys are guys, and strangers quickly became familiar friends at a poker table.”
Mostly Vegan Diet and Intense Workouts Keep JLo Fit
All jokes aside, Lopez is in the best shape of her life at 44, thanks to a mostly vegan diet and rigorous 90-minute workouts, her trainer, Tracy Anderson, told Allure.
“Jennifer does the Tracy Anderson Method, which includes muscular structure work and between nine and 13 different exercises that change every 10 days, and dance aerobics as well,” said Anderson. “I keep [her butt] toned and in position. We do planks, moving the legs and butt at different angles.”
Anderson, who also trains Gwyneth Paltrow, Victoria Beckham, and Kim Kardashian, shared her weight loss tips in her book, Tracy Anderson’s 30-Day Method.
Lopez, who lost 40 pounds after giving birth to twins in 2008, typically tries to stick to a 1,200 to 1,400-calorie-a-day diet. She said her No. 1 diet and weight-loss secret is portion control.
JLo Credits Vegan Diet for 10-Pound Weight Loss
Lopez recently credited the vegan diet for helping her lose 10 pounds in five weeks. “Since I had the babies six years ago, I had that really stubborn 8 to 10 pounds on me,” she said. “When I started eating [vegan], right away I dropped about 8 to 10 pounds.”
Jennifer followed a vegan diet for five weeks and said she felt incredible. “It was a real change,” she said. “I felt better and people were like, ‘Your energy’s better.'”
Lopez has since begun incorporating animal protein back into her diet, but said she’s mostly vegan and eats more vegetables after her vegan diet experiment. “The truth is, even if you’re 70 to 80 percent vegan, it’s so much better having those vegetables, greens, and plant-based stuff,” said Jennifer. “It’s going to change your life and health.”
