It is that time of year, the weather starts to change, the leaves begin to fall and Christmas decorations begin to appear on store shelves. The holiday season is getting closer and though Halloween arrives first many await for what they call their favorite holiday of the year, Black Friday.
It is almost as big as Christmas and each year the Black Friday commercials and ads begin teasing consumers with the hottest and biggest sales of the year.
Last year Kmart opened up early Thanksgiving Day and stayed open for 41 hours to satify the growing needs of their Black Friday customers. This year it is expected that most major retailers will do the same thing and some may try to beat the competion by opening up even earlier and staying open longer.
Bradsdeals.com has stated that the rumors are that this year Kmart will open at 8:00 am Thanksgivng Day with Walmart opening Thanksgiving morning as well. These are just rumors as of now so stay tuned.
Black Friday falls on November 28th this year and we usually can expect the sneak peak of the ads from most retail stores as early as the second week of October.
Many will have pre- Black Friday specials and most of the ads will showcase their major doorbusters that have the must have items of the year at the lowest prices and available in limited quantities at select times.
Kmart, Walmart, Target, and Toys R Us are some of the biggest retailers whose Black Friday ads are most anticipated and they also present their huge holiday toy catalogs as well for great Christmas deals.
Walmart even price matched many of the other retailers Black Friday prices as well last year to make sure consumers would stay with them for their Black Friday deals.
Electronics, toys, apparel, and jewelry are some of the hottest black Friday items each year with consumers getting in line as early as days in advance to make sure they get the hot coveted item on their holiday shopping list.
Retailers are getting everything ready for the big day and some stores like Best Buy are warming up their customers with special sale prices on select items right now.
Remember, you can also shop all of the Black Friday deals online as well, with some stores offering online only deals.
