Bobby Ciasulli, who is dating Nicole Napolitano, is being criticized for sharing a photograph at the scene of a van fire. Radar Online reports on Friday that the volunteer firefighter added a selfie to his Twitter account, but fans immediately pointed out it was not appropriate. The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star has been busy defending himself online and fighting with Jim Marchese at the same time.
Ciasulli explained that the van belonged to a pool company and had chemicals stored inside. Other firefighters can be seen in the distance of the photograph, but he is holding the camera to create the selfie effect. Ciasulli is part of the Colts Neck Fire Department in New Jersey and states he was part of the group before he appeared on the reality show.
Fans have been criticizing Ciasulli because of the selfie, but he does not feel it was wrong. In addition, he seems to be wrapped up in his fight with Marchese, so the opinions of others are not bothering him. Ciasulli claims Marchese is accusing him of not being a real firefighter, and the photo serves as proof that he is actually part of the fire department.
The feud between the two men is far from over, and Marchese states that Ciasulli’s entire personality is fake. He argues that there are volunteer firefighters in the Marchese family, so he is not attacking the job. However, Ciasulli feels he is being mistreated because Marchese constantly posts about him on Twitter while disparaging his work.
Although some fire departments have rules about social media use, it does not appear that the Colts Neck Fire Department has reprimanded Ciasulli. He may not have violated a policy or they may not have noticed his selfie. In either case, it is clear he will continue to defend the image despite the negative comments from others.
