Laguna Niguel, California’s budget fashionistas will soon have a new place to shop for trendy designer clothes for less with the opening of a Nordstrom Rack. The Seattle-based Nordstrom, Inc. (NYSE: JWN) announced today, July 31,via press release, that it plans to open a 29,500 square-foot shop at The Center at Rancho Niguel in Laguna Niguel in spring of 215. The property is owned and managed by Buie Stoddard Group.
The discount designer emporium will occupy a space that formerly house a Loehmann’s alongside other outlets such as Ethan Allen, BevMo! and Thomasville Furniture. The center is located on the west side of Interstate 5 at the intersection of the 73 Toll Freeway and Crown Valley Parkway.
“Our new Rack store will be right down the street from our Nordstrom store at The Shops at Mission Viejo and offer customers an additional way to shop for the brands they love at great prices,” said Geevy Thomas, president of Nordstrom Rack. “We’ve been fortunate for the many years of service we’ve been able to provide inOrange County and are happy to offer a more convenient location for customers in and around the communities of Laguna Niguel.”
The Laguna Niguel Nordstrom Rack will be the seventh Rack in Orange County. “We are excited to have Nordstrom Rack open at The Center at Rancho Niguel,” said Jeff Stoddard, president of the Buie Stoddard Group. “Nordstrom Rack is a premier retailer who will be a great complement to our existing collection of stores.”
