Many in the Nashville and Middle Tennessee area will be keeping an eye out for some of the newest Tennessee Vols football team as the college American football season is gearing up.
In the attached video ‘Phil Murphy and Tennessee coach Butch Jones preview the upcoming season for the Volunteers’ and the coach will perhaps give us some insight into the 2014 players and team, including new recruits Jalen Hurd from Beech High in Hendersonville and Josh Malone from Station Camp High School in Gallatin, TN, which is also in Sumner County. These two young men were in competition in their home county during their high school football days, and will now be on the same team, after signing with the Vols.
As these two of our local outstanding high school football players opted for their college careers to be at Knoxville under the leadership of Coach Butch Jones and the Tennessee Volunteers, we in this area will be watching closely and following the team throughout the season to see how these two, along with the rest of the team, come out at the end of the season.
