Aug 30- Butterfly and Bug Bonanza. In late summer, butterflies and blooms are in their glory! Come to the Glendening Nature Preserve for insect relay races, butterfly crafts, and fun activities. Observe and learn about butterflies and their host plants in the Butterfly Garden, and take a hike to spot wildlife in the surrounding meadows. All ages. FREE.
Sept 3- Annual “Dog Days of Summer” Dog Swim at the Truxtun Park Pool!. Bring your pooch to the pool for some doggie paddle fun! An annual end-of-summer event, Annapolis Recreation and Parks will host its dog swim at the Truxtun Park Pool on Wednesday, September 3 from 4 to 7 p.m. $10 per dog and the proceeds go to the ARPD Scholarship Fund.

Aug 31 – ASO Presents-Pops in the Park. This FREE concert is held at the lovely outdoor theater at Quiet Waters Park. Lexus Pops in the Park features the full orchestra performing a fun and festive program for all ages. Bring a blanket, picnic, and your family for an evening of spectacular music.
Aug 28 – Aug 31 – ASGT presents “Monty Python’s Spamalot”. Lovingly ripped off from the 1975 film comedy Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Spamalot will leave you in stitches. This outrageous and uproarious retelling of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table intertwines the tale of the king’s quest for the Holy Grail into another Pythonesque plot: that of bringing the king and his harebrained entourage to an enchanted land called Broadway. Tickets, $20.
Sept 2 – Oct 7- Annapolis Shakespeare presents THE IMAGINARY INVALID. The Imaginary Invalid written by Moliere, adapted by Timothy Mooney, directed by Kristin Clippard. Performances every Tuesday at 7:30pm in the courtyard at Reynolds Tavern. Tickets are $16 in advance and $20 at the door. *Food and Beverage are not included in the ticket price.
