The Chesapeake Bay Foundation is offering a Bay Discovery Canoe Trip on Nov 1. Canoeists will paddle along the Tyaskin Creek, just off the Nanticoke River in Wicomico County. The hours will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The creek is a tidal Eastern Shore creek, with lots of tidal marsh and many birds. Canoeists will meet at the public boat launch at Wetipquin Park in Tyaskin. Boats and life jackets will be provided, as will paddling instruction for novices. Children 10 and up are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is required.
