What is better at the Alhambra Theater & Dining – the food or the show? With this show, “The Drowsy Chaperon”, the answer has to be both, but you’ll have to go and judge for yourself. Below you can be like “The Man In Chair” and see (instead of dream) what delicious goodies Chef De Juan Roy has prepared. Then order your tickets to attend the musical and let me know how you enjoyed both.
You have two selections to choose from the first course, four to choose from the second course and two choices from the prepared desserts.

Manhattan Clam Chowder
Creamy Manhattan Clam Chowder. A tomato-based sauce with potatoes, onions, carrots, celery, a little bacon and Chef De Juan’s secret recipe. As always the foods served at the Alhambra need NO extra condiments or flavor enhancers
Herb Marinated Citrus Salad
Herb Marinated Citrus Salad with cracked black pepper, olive oil, Balsamic reduction atop mixed greens. A little sweet and a little tangy, but oh so good. This is a great way to start off your meal. It’s light and refreshing to your palette
Roasted Prime Rib
Oven Roasted Prime Rib served with baked potato, green beans, a side of Horseradish and Au Jus sauce. You choose how rare or well-done you would like your portion cooked. This is a tender piece of beef and very succulent
Chicken Marsala with cheddar chive whipped potatoes and Broccolini. The chicken is so tender that you can cut it with the side of your fork. There are little chunks of potato in there so you know they are house-made. Broccolini is a green vegetable similar to broccoli but with smaller florets and longer, thin stalks
Shrimp Gratin with Orachetti pasta & Baby Carrots. This creamy second course meal is served in its own shallow ramekin and its pippin hot and very flavorful. The baby carrots are tender & the Orachetti pasta is a kind of home-made pasta typical of a region in southern Italy. Its name comes from its shape, which resembles a small ear
Falafel served with cracked wheat salad. Falafel is a deep-fried ball or patty made from ground chickpeas, fava beans, or both. It is a traditional Middle Eastern food, usually served in a pita, which acts as a pocket, or wrapped in a flatbread, but no flatbread here
Fruit Bowls are available upon request, but you will want to try either the Pumpkin Almond Cake or the New York Cheesecake. The fruit is fresh and sweet and served at just the right temperature. Yummy!
Can’t eat another drop, give the Sorbet a try. Its cold, light and delectable. But you will want to try either the Pumpkin Almond Cake or the New York Cheesecake
New York Cheesecake
New York Cheesecake with salted caramel chocolate Ganache. Ganache is a glaze, icing, sauce, or filling for pastries made from chocolate and cream. Butter is traditionally added to give the ganache a shiny appearance and smooth texture. You’ll have to ask Chef De Juan if he added any butter
Pumpkin Almond Cake
Pumpkin Almond Cake with toasted almonds & a bourbon glaze. This is sweet and savory piece of cake with an essence of bourbon, of which the alcohol has been cooked out. Just amazing
Gala Night Spread
After the show on “Gala Night” Chef De Juan Roy lays out a spread of cookies, cheeses, crackers, strawberries dipped in chocolate, other fresh fruit and many other delectables
