Racing enthusiasts know Florida has plenty of action and summertime is no exception. Beginning Thursday, July 3, get in the mix of things at Daytona International Speedway for one of the best NASCAR races of the year.
The action begins at noon on Thursday when the Sprint FANZONE opens with a guided tour of the garage area, the NASCAR Nationwide Series and Sprint Cup Series practice sessions. The grandstand gates also open at noon, so you can get a head start on what promises to be three days of fast cars and talented drivers.
The Fourth of July festivities begins at 9am with the Coca-Cola Track Walk followed by more tours, activities in the FANZONE, live entertainment, driver appearances, and Nationwide and Sprint Series qualifying races throughout the day. At 7:30pm, the Subway Firecracker 250 NASCAR Nationwide Series race begins with 100 laps of racing excitement.
On Saturday, July 5, the entertainment continues with the midway, trophy photo session, tours, driver appearances, live music on state, and autograph sessions. At 7:30pm, the 56th Annual Coke Zero 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race hits the track for 160 laps.
