100% 4 ply cotton yarn, worsted weight

30 inches of 1/4 inch yellow ribbon

Row 1: With MC, ch 31, edc in 4th ch from the hook, edc in each of next 2 chs, edc color change to CC in next ch, edc in each of next 3 chs, edc color change to MC in next ch, * edc in each of next 3 ch, edc color change to CC in next ch, edc in each of next 3 ch, edc color change to MC in next ch, rep from * 1 more time, edc in each of next 3 chs, edc color change to CC in last ch, ch 3 turn. (14 blocks of MC, 13 blocks CC) ,
Rows 2-11: Work in pattern as established, following chart,
Fasten off both colors and weave in ends,
Cut one 12″ piece and three 6″ inch pieces of ribbon.
Fold each dishcloth in half placing each half side by side with open edges facing each other in the middle. Thread 6″ ribbon through yarn needle and weave through row 2 of first cloth.
Repeat with a second piece of 6″ inch ribbon on second cloth. Pull each ribbon to gather and tie in a bow. This forms the bottom cuff of each pant leg.
With 12″ piece of ribbon, weave .through Row 10, beginning at the center left front, continue around connecting both dishcloths in the back, continue to the center right front.
Gather ribbon and tie into a bow, This forms the waist of pants.
With rem 6″ of ribbon, beginning at center left front on row8, insert ribbon through first and last st of first cloth and last and first stitch of second cloth to form the fly.
