Color buddies in ‘Draw a Stickman: Epic” are white, blobby figures holding a ball of color. Upon touching them you receive that color as one you can use on your stick figure. Collecting all of them not only allows you to make a more creative and elaborate stick figure, but gives you the ‘Color Buddy’ achievement if you’re playing on Steam.
So where are all the color buddies?
Level 1 – Cuddle Bunny Peak: To the north of the cave that lets you exit to level 2, there is more dynamite. Continue lighting it until you’ve gone as far north as you can on the map. There will be three red pink ball. Click on the ball to take the red color.
Level 2 – Armakillo Pass: Just to the north and right of the starting position is an unlit campfire with a pot on it. Draw a fire on the camp fire to light it. As the water in the pot boils, a figure carrying a pink ball will run out. Click on the ball to take the pink color.
Level 3 – Stickenstein’s Monster: After the Stickenstein’s monster is awakened and bashes through the broken part of the castle wall, walk behind the castle and down the tiny path that’s available. A figure carrying a blue ball will come out to meet you. Click on the blue ball to get the red color.
Level 4A – Buckets n Bunnies: Head straight to the left from the starting point. Cross the bridge after hitting the rock spewing fire with lightning. A figure holding a light blue ball is walking around to the left. Just walk over and grab the ball to get the light blue color.
Level 4B – Cavern of Robotic Mystery: At the exit is a figure holding a green ball. Touch the ball to get the green color. Nothing else has to be done to obtain this.
Level 5A – Volcanic Valley: After crossing the bridge created by the smashers you’ll come across a portion of lava that is already solidified and extends to the south. But a rock spitting flames is right next to it and if you attempt to step on the solidified lava it will blow fire on it and turn it back to liquid, killing you. Draw a lightning cloud above the rock to stun it then run down the solidified lava to the south. At the bottom is a figure holding a lime green ball. Touch the ball to take the lime green color.
Level 5B – Trollfoot Grotto: To the left of the starting position is a figure standing with a yellow ball. But the figure is surrounded by boulders. In order to destroy the boulders you’ll need to get the troll to chase you. Draw an axe and cut down the gate with a key lock on it. Cut down the largest tree after going through the gate and prepare to run from the troll that will hop out of the gorge. Lead the troll back toward the figure with the yellow ball. After it kicks down the boulders surrounding the yellow ball get behind the troll and lead it down to the spiders who will wrap it up.
Level 6A – The Bee’s Knees: Head to the right to cross the bridge from the starting point then head right and to the north. Avoid the bees but go to the north on the outside of the stone wall. Open the locked gate with a key. Use lightning to light the dynamite throughout the boulders. Inside of the area that was blocked by boulders you’ll see a group of baby birds. Draw a rain cloud over them. They will run south and to the left. Run after them and draw a rain cloud over them again. They’ll run to the north. Follow them back up to the boulder area and to the north end. Put one more rain cloud over the baby birds and a figure holding a brown ball will pop out. Touch the ball to get the brown color.
Level 6B – Grave Decisions: Go through the north through two gates and to the right. Above the blue sealing symbol you need to place a key in, you will see a tombstone with a lightning symbol on it. Hit this gravestone with lightning and a figure holding a pale brown ball will pop out. Head back to the right and at the top of the next area you’ll see dynamite. Light it. A red sealed gate is blocking the newly opened path. To get to the stone that unlocks the red gate you’ll need to head to the left. Have a key ready before entering the area because spiders surround the stone. Use the key and immediately run. Go through the gate and walk to the right until you reach the figure with the light peach ball. Touch the ball to get the light peach color.
Level 6C – The Battle of Stickopolis: Heading to the left from the start point, you’ll reach a bridge blocking the river. Burn it down. Just down from the bridge, next to the river, is a barrel. Burn it and a figure holding a peach ball will pop out. Head to the north and the far right until you see a wheel. Use the axe to break it and this will push the water through the river faster. Return to where the figure was and he’ll be washed up on the shore so you can get the peach ball from him.
Level 7A – Dragon Omelet: To the right from the starting point you will find a group of barrels that you can’t quite reach because light colored foliage is blocking the way. Use the rain cloud pencil to wash the foliage away. Then use an axe to cut open the barrels. One will contain a figure holding a gray ball. Touch the ball to take the gray color.
Level 7B – Pirate’s Plunder: At the starting point just to the right there’s a boat tethered to the dock. Cut it with the axe to set it free. Walk to the left and then the south. The boat has lodged itself between the main land mass and a little island where a figure with a white ball is waiting. Cross the boat and get the white color.
Level 8 – Zarp’s Fortress: Just to the south of where you start there is a wall with barrels of oil on the opposite side. Light the barrels on fire and wait for them to burn away. Then light the oil on fire and wait for it to burn away. At the fortress’s entrance the statue on the left has a lightning emblem on it. Strike it with lightning in order to blow out the wall to the south. Go back to the south and a figure with a purple ball will be south of where the barrels of oil were. Touch him to get the purple color.
Puzzle Level – Be Creative: After getting all the puzzle pieces you can push the play button on the puzzle board. This takes you to a new level. Head to the right after opening the first container and open a second box with a key. A figure holding a light pink ball will pop out. Touch the ball to take the light pink color.
Winter Level: Head north and then to the right where all the snowmen are. Near the elf hiding in the snowman to the top part a walrus will pop up every now and then. Use the freeze pencil to freeze him into a block of ice. Walk onto him and another will pop up behind him. Do the same to this walrus and the next to use them as a bridge. Use the axe to knock down the stick holding up the snowball. After it rolls away a figure holding a black ball will come out. Click the ball to get the black color.
