RVCA Debuts Babes In Montauk Video
RVCA has released a short film, Babes in Montauk, featuring the female members of the brands Advocate & ANP programs. The assembly of RVCA Women’s Advocates which include photographer Ashley Barker, model Mahina Alexadner, artist Michelle Blade, artist Kylea Borges, model Ashley Smith, and artist Nina Long, were flown in from across the globe to the East Coast for a seven day stint in Montauk. “The sole purpose of the trip was to bring together the talented women who are representative of the RVCA tribe at its core. The brand is built upon a foundation of inspiring creative voices and more importantly, providing a platform for those talents to engage with one another and collaborate, to inspire one another and in turn our community.” said RVCA founder PM Tenore. Ralph Lauren Enters the Foray of Wearable Tech
Ralph Lauren is entering the wearable tech market with a partnership with OMsignal, the maker of shirts that monitor cardiac activity through interwoven sensors. A form fitting black t-shirt will debut at the US Open with ball boys donning the high tech gear. Marcos Giron, the top ranked mens singles player of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association will also be wearing the shirt during warm ups. “Our vision is that this will transcend sports to help us at every age and in every aspect of life,” says Lauren. “Reaching far beyond just the needs of elite athletes, Polo Tech will offer innovative technology for all ages and lifestyles to promote general wellness and quality of life.” David Lauren, senior vice president of advertising, marketing, and public relations at Ralph Lauren said in a statement.

Barneys New York Highlights ‘LA Stories’ for Fall Campaign
Barneys New York Fall campaign is set to feature a range of contributors who hail from the city of angels in a campaign titled ‘L.A. Stories’ which will debut this weekend at the Barneys flagship store in New York City. The campaign, shot by legendary photographer Bruce Weber, will feature 76 participants from L.A. and will premiere as in installation window viewing at the Barneys Madison Avenue store.
