It is now a mere four days until the 2014 midterm elections. Longtime observers of elections have noted that the political landscape seems to indicate a general shift away from Democrats. This would spell trouble for Barack Obama and his legislative allies such as Harry Reid. But many elections are so close that even a slight shift of a few hundred votes or less would be enough to tip the election to the Democrat. The reason? Widespread fraud. And in North Carolina such fraud is considered a felony that carries stiff federal penalties.
North Carolina law states clearly that it is a felony “for any person, knowing that a person is not a citizen of the United States, to instruct or coerce that person to register to vote or to vote.”
New information was reported today that North Carolina has enough illegal aliens who are willing to break the law in order to vote to tip the election in favor of U.S. Sen. Kay Hagan, D-N.C., who is in the fight of her political life. Democrats are pouring outside money into the state to keep Hagan in the Senate, despite her reputation of being a poor representative of the values and views of North Carolinians.
But filmmaker and political activist James O’Keefe uncovered even more fraud under the surface. O’Keefe discovered that political operatives are actively encouraging illegal aliens to vote in the election. These felonies should result in arrest, trial, and jail terms for the guilty. But as we have seen in the past few election cycles, the culture of corruption today in the Obama administration and the Democratic Party applauds this lawlessness. From ACORN, to SEIU, to the New Black Panthers, Democrats have used a variety of illegal methods to tip various elections around the country. And Eric Holder’s Justice Department has never been interested in making sure the law is followed, unless it involves Obama’s opponents. The broad based ramifications stemming from this lawlessness indicate that Americans can no longer trust the elections process and that countless, close races may be tipped toward Democrats by illegal aliens who vote.
A new study conducted by two Old Dominion University professors indicates that in the 2008 presidential election, 6.4 percent of non-citizens voted illegally. Another study showed that out of the 700,000 known illegal aliens living in the country, over 200,000 of them voted illegally in various races across the country. The bottom line, of course, is that in a race as close the North Carolina’s which pits Sen. Hagan against Republican challenger Thom Tillis, the election could be tipped in favor of Hagan by the number of illegals alone who vote illegally.
The two Old Dominion professors believe this has happened already. The professors concluded that Obama’s victory in North Carolina in 2008 may well have been decided by illegal aliens. Obama won the state by a razor thin margin of only 14,177 votes. If a mere 5.1 percent of the state’s illegal aliens voted in that election, that would be enough to tip the balance in favor of Obama instead of McCain.
Thus, not only do conservatives need to vote in high numbers, but they must become poll watchers. They must demand laws be followed. They must report irregularities. And they must insist that those who break the law be punished to the fullest extend of the law.
