Are you staying at a Disney World Resort? Will you be flying into Orlando? Then you must take advantage of Disney’s Magical Express & Resort Airline Check-In services. Both services will save you time and money during your next Walt Disney World vacation. Here’s how:
Disney’s Magical Express
Disney’s Magical Express is a complimentary service offering an airport shuttle bus to and from the Disney resorts. Plus, your luggage will be delivered directly to your room. (Arrival times must be between 5 a.m. and 10 p.m.)
Here’s how to use the service:
Approximately two weeks before your departure for Disney, you will receive special luggage tags via mail or FedEx. Attach these to you bags that will be checked at the airport. This allows employees to easily identify which bags belong to those using Disney’s Magical Express service.
Upon your arrival, your luggage will be loaded onto a truck and delivered to your resort, where it will finally be delivered to your room. While your luggage is being transported, you will need to check in at the counter in Terminal B, Level 1. There you will be assigned a bus and brought to your resort.
Resort Airline Check-In
Though it is considered a separate service from Disney’s Magical Express, the Resort Airline Check-In service goes hand-in-hand with the shuttle service. This service allows you to get your boarding pass and check your luggage right at your Disney hotel. (Only for select airlines.)
Upon checking out of your Disney room, you can go check your luggage and get your boarding pass in the lobby area of your Disney resort. The Resort Airline Check-In desk operates daily from 5 a.m. until 1 p.m. Check-in must be completed at least three hours before departure. You will then be given a ride back to the airport via Disney’s Magical Express.
Participating airlines include AirTran, Alaska, American, Continental, Delta, JetBlue, Southwest, United and USAirways.
Disney’s Magical Express is only available to guests staying at a Disney World resort. Guests staying at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels, the Downtown Disney hotels and Shades of Green are not able to use this service.
When you are planning your next Disney World vacation, look into taking advantage of the different services offered to Disney resort guests. Both Disney’s Magical Express and Resort Airline Check-in services will save you time and money when staying at a Disney resort.
