1. Colonel Buck’s Tomb
In Bucksport, Maine there are is a story about a man named Colonel Jonathan Buck. The truth about it is there really is an outline of a leg on his gravestone, how it come there is there are many legends about it. Buck was the founder of Bucksport, and as one legend tells is that he had a women executed because he called her a witch, well she got her revenge by putting a curse on him. So whatever actually happened, it is strange on why his grave is marked. Could it really have been a scorned witch and her wicked curse? Maybe!
2. Mrs. Bathory
The name Countess Elizabeth Bathory is still a name that when people hear still get shivers down their spines. She was a real life vampire, she would murder young virgin girls in order to steal their blood, so she wouldn’t grow old! While there are probably more stories and movies about Vlad The Impaler, (another prolific ‘vampire’) Elizabeth Bathory is also right up there by being a very cruel person too. Her story been made in movies too. So people that know her story will agree, and are probably still haunted by their research. It’s a creepy piece of history from the 16th Century!
3. The White Lady
The White Lady is a ghost from the Union Cemetery, located in Easton, Connecticut. People have been reporting seeing her since the late 1940s. She’s also said to be haunting another nearby Stepney Cemetery in Monroe, Connecticut. It’s said that the late demonologist, Ed Warren even said that he caught her essence on film. She’s said to be have seen by firemen, police officers, others, and there have been photographs of her. She’s said to have long, dark hair, and she’s wearing a white nightgown, and a white bonnet. You can also see her on RT 59 and sometimes RT 11.
4. 50 Berkley Square
The last stories is looking at a ghost again, a ghost story hat is terrifying and true. 50 Berkley Square is a townhouse located on Berkley Square in central London. There is a lot about the townhouse stories range from a man dying from fright, a couple of suicides, and a tale about two men that died while deciding to stay the night in the house. It was a mistake for them. So called one of the most haunted houses in England, 50 Berkley Square has its own horrible history.
