‘The Red Party Uncovered event was held at BJ’s Nxs on Friday, August 8th. The announcement was made through the Foundation’s bold, vibrant, and electrifying reveal video (https://vimeo.com/102959620), filmed and produced locally in Dallas, which reinforces the new name and mission of the foundation, as announced earlier this year. The annual event, which returns to Dallas Pride weekend, will be held at The Globe, an upscale and modern venue just west of downtown, and will feature a performance by Adore Delano, with DJ Patrick Kuzara (NYC) spinning.
Danny Noriega began performing at the age of 14. His first taste of fame came from his appearances on “American Idol”, where he made it to 13th place. Fast forward a few years, and Danny performed in his first drag show. Choosing the name, Adore Delano, the wild child of drag made her epic debut. Adore is a live singer, actress, comedienne, drag show host, and a contestant on “RuPaul’s Drag Race” Season 6. With an eclectic style reflecting her fearless commitment to being herself, Adore’s career has skyrocketed since “Drag Race”, leading to hit songs and a European tour. Patrick Kuzara is an actor/singer currently playing his biggest role yet as DJ, nightlife personality, and Emcee in New York City. The creator and host of Project Thursday Karaoke, a successful karaoke/dance party, can be found DJing/hosting at venues and parties such as the Time Out New York Lounge, Sky Room, The Attic (Summer Camp), Stage 48 (Viva), Phoenix Bar, Gold Bar, Barracuda, Therapy Lounge, and the Dream Hotel.
Tickets to the event are priced at $59 before August 22nd, $69 after that date, and $80 at the door (if still available). Complimentary Hudson Ferus Vodka cocktails will be provided throughout the event to guests. A limited number of VIP lounges with seating for 6 are available for $750, and come with bottle service and a VIP Meet & Greet. All ticket sales benefit Legacy Counseling Center and Founders Cottage, an organization providing affordable mental health care, substance abuse treatment and special care housing services to people living with HIV in the North Texas area.
