It’s Halloween. You can take it mellow or not so mellow. You can have pumpkin or garlic. And there should be ghost stories. Here are some of the specials that the businesses have for us today.

The Boston Scream Donut. A variation of its classic Boston Kreme Donut, the Boston Scream Donut is disguised for Halloween with a special orange icing drizzle design. For another seasonal treat, Dunkin’ Donuts is also serving the Halloween Pumpkin Donut, shaped to resemble a jack-o-lantern, the pumpkin shaped yeast shell is filled with vanilla-flavored buttercreme, and finished with orange icing and a jack-o-lantern face made with chocolate icing drizzle.
Group Snack: Baskin-Robbins
Baskin-Robbins is helping guests celebrate the holiday with its Pumpkin Patch Cake and Fall Harvest Roll Cake, which are customizable with a guest’s favorite ice cream and cake flavor combination, including seasonal ice cream flavors such as Pumpkin Pie.
Healthy Child Snack: I know, that doesn’t sound right on a day that worships candy. But Jamba Juice Company is hosting Free Kids Smoothie Day on Friday, October 31st, 2014 from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. at participating Jamba Juice locations. They will give away a free 9.5oz Jamba Kids™ smoothie to all children ages 8 and younger.*
