“After 17 years on the assembly line (hourly), I decided to take the education leave. I received my Bachelors & my Masters Degree. An At-will- employee is an insecure business. Ford Motor Company paid for all three of my college degrees, and are one of the largest companies in our world, and I still can not find a full-time gainful leadership position.
I am incredibly positive and have a wealth of experience. I am ready to share my energy with a potential company. Since 2009 I too have been a K-12 Special & General Education Substitute Teacher. For over 30 years I have been an Election official in both Washtenaw and Wayne counties. Whenever faced with the opportunity I encourage young people to register to vote, to exercise their right and allow their voice to be heard.
Prior to graduation from University of Phoenix (Detroit Campus) I spent most of my school days on campus at Wayne State University as an undergraduate – in the News Reporting Field.
I love the city of Detroit, for all seasons; whether I am ice skating at Campus Martius, Enjoying a Lions game, Running at Belle-Isle or picnicking on the River Front, I am interested in the culture, in and around the city. I am a 4-time Marathon runner, ran my first at Marine Corp Marathon with Oprah Winfrey in Wash D.C., a vegetarian, I live by candle light and absolutely love Jazz music, I cant be good for anyone else unless I am GREAT to myself.
My favorite saying; “The truth requires no memory”
