From Sunday, Sept. 21- Friday, Sept. 26 hungry foodies can satisfy their palates by visiting over 200 participating restaurants featuring delectable appetizers, scrumptious entrees and delightful desserts.
This countywide culinary dream makes trying every hot spot, budding bistro, and quaint cafe from North County to South Bay incredibly easy since no passes or tickets are required! Simply select the participating restaurant of your choice and make reservations or walking and prepare yourself for a mouthful of bliss.
One of the participating restaurants is Jsix. Executive Chef Christian Graves has selected a playful variety of dishes to serve for his three-course Restaurant Week menu for $35. Get the night started with dishes like Jsix’s Potato + Dungeness Crab Pancakes, served with American caviar and hollandaise or the Watermelon + Cherry Tomato Salad with mozzarella curds, white balsamic and basil puree. For the second course, select from signature options like chef Graves’ Fried Farm Egg + Pork Belly with bean salad, corn and salsa verde or the Jsix Burger; a half-pound Brandt Beef patty with white cheddar, avocado, jalapenos, bacon and fries. End the meal with seasonal sweets like the Stone Fruit Crisp with lemon vanilla gelato and oatmeal crumble or Cosby Pudding: chocolate + Nutella with whipped cream and candied hazelnuts. Cusp Dining & Drinks is another favorite. Cusp will showcase a large selection of options from their Mediterranean-inspired menu for a three-course dinner set to stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. Light fare like chef Donald Lockhart’s Shaved Pear and Cara Cara Orange Salad with kale, Grana Padano and white balsamic Greek yogurt dressing and local favorites like the Crispy Pork Belly with honey Sriracha glaze will be part of the selection of starters, and entrees like ocean-fresh Potato Crusted Local Halibut with Provencal vegetables and Proscuitto and Fontina Stuffed Chicken will be part of the evening’s choices.
