“Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.” – Zechariah 12:2
Heaven is hemorrhaging because of the attacks on God’s beloved Israel—the apple of the Holy Creator’s eye (Zechariah 2:8). The Lord has put such travailing in my spirit for Israel; and with it, a reminder of the swift and terrorizing judgment that He will bring upon those nations who are coming against this anointed land. You can’t mess with Israel, people. There are many things that God will tolerate, and that He will even wink at for a time—but attacking Israel is not one of them.
The Lord reminded me of a message concerning Israel that He gave to me on August 1st of last year, and I sensed very strongly in my spirit to re-run it for this time. God spoke to me yesterday very clearly concerning this matter: “Israel’s water has broken, and her promise is about to be delivered. The time has come where I will destroy her enemies, and make them her footstool. (Psalm 110:1) Woe to any nation that comes against My beloved Israel, and woe to any nation who sits by as lukewarm. Woe to anyone who twists and perverts the truth of Israel—especially those reporting the news. I see what you are doing, and I am going to rebuke and expose you if you do not repent and turn from your lying and venomous ways.”
As my wife and I were watching Pat Robertson’s “700 Club” two nights ago, a commentator whose name I did not catch, said these very sobering words (I am paraphrasing): “A nation becomes sick when Jews leave.” The Jewish people are a manifestation and reminder of God’s promise to Abraham, and to Abraham’s seed. This original remnant also carries prosperity in them. When the Jews do a mass exodus, as they are in some nations today, these very nations will become sick economically, politically, and militarily.
Below is a reprint of what the Lord gave me last year, almost to the day. Heed the Word of the Lord.
God is not interested in political correctness, He is interested in truth—His truth, which took the form of His Son Jesus Christ and came to earth by way of Mary, the Virgin Mother’s womb, to save all who call upon Him (John 3:16-17, 8:32, 14:6, Isaiah 61:1). In truth, political correctness won’t save those who are opposing Israel from God’s wrath.
I know of no other nation in the Bible where God defends so fiercely, and issues such a warning against any other person or nation who comes against Israel. Be warned, this is very serious business. So serious that God has put this message in my spirit for this time and this season. “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap” (Galatians 6:7).
Any time that the United States has put pressure on Israel, destruction has come upon our soil. Israel is once again being pressured by our government; and if our leaders don’t back off, the Lord will either draw back His hand of protection which has been keeping evil at bay, or He Himself will strike this nation.
Israel is indeed surrounded on all sides. The Word of God warns “But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near. Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her. For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled” (Luke 21:20).
The Hebrew word for “trembling” is raal (pr. rah-al), which means “a reeling, to terribly shake” (Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance). We are living in a time when Israel is not being supported. And if this course isn’t immediately corrected, with a clear alliance, allegiance, and love pledged to Israel, this nation, along with every enemy of Israel will experience a terrible shaking such as it has never experienced before.
I am soberly aware of the strength of my words, and do not take what I say lightly. In truth, these are God’s Words and not my own, as I am merely a scribe unto the Lord—His imperfect, but most willing vessel. Let this warning turn the heart of this nation back to Israel. I pray that it does, for the sake of its people.
My Geneva Bible says of this warning found in Zechariah 12:2 “Jerusalem shall be defended against all her enemies; so shall God defend all Judah also, and shall destroy the enemies” (© 2006, Tolle Lege Press, The 1599 Geneva Bible). And my New Spirit-Filled Life Bible’s commentary on this verse reads “this passage describes God’s judgment against the nations who attack Jerusalem. God’s manner of judgment (I will strike, v4) will take many forms, as exemplified in the totality of biblical history” (© 2002, Thomas Nelson Inc.).
The following is the Lord’s warning throughout the remaining related verses, and starting with verse one:
“The burden of the word of the Lord for Israel, saith the Lord, which stretches forth the heavens, and lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him. Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. In that day, saith the Lord, I will slash every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open My eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness. And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in the Lord of hosts their God. In that day will I make the governors of Judah like a hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem” (Zechariah 12:1-6).
Let us, as a people and as a nation, draw close to our sister Israel. Let us bless her, love her, lift her up, adore her, and protect her. So help us God.
Father, thank You for Israel. We stand in agreement with Your love and protection of Israel. We bless Israel, and therefore, we are blessed. Deposit a supernatural conviction in our spirit for loyalty and support of Israel—the apple of Your eye. Put Your heart within us, that we love Israel with the same everlasting love You have for Your beloved nation. In Jesus Name, we thank You that we love Israel because You love Israel, and we bless Israel because you have blessed Israel. Amen and Amen.
Take action! Challenge your thinking! Choose to study what God has spoken concerning our mandate to love, bless, and protect Israel. Determine to be moved only by God and His Truth, and not by man or political correctness. And continue to fight the good fight of supporting Israel, for God; the Apple of your eye, has already given you the victory!
If you have never received Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, I encourage you to do it today, right now, by saying this prayer out loud: “Jesus, forgive me for my sins. I am sorry. I truly desire to be saved and reconciled back to God, my Father, through You. I receive Your sinless Blood as payment in full for my sins—past, present, and future. I now call You my Lord and Savior, and invite You to live within my heart, and to permanently live within me. I make You Lord over me and over my life from this moment on. Amen.” Congratulations! You are now a child of God, made whole and made new, by the Blood of Jesus Christ!
God tells us that we are blessed to be a blessing (Genesis 12:2). Be a blessing to someone by sending them this word of encouragement. If God did not already put someone in your spirit and on your heart that needs to read this uplifting message from above, simply ask your Heavenly Father who to bless on today. Forward this message right now by email, facebook, or twitter.
Jesus is coming soon!
May God Bless you and keep you always.
