While Jennifer Aniston happily prepares for her wedding day with her usual yoga and low carb diet program, several gossip magazines have just as joyfully been crafting fiction that she’s pregnant, accused the actress’s representative. Responding to yet another fake announcement, her rep told Page Six on Sept. 18 that “the whole story is a complete fabrication.”
Spokesman Stephen Huvane expressed his outrage that Us Weekly plastered false pregnancy announcement on its cover. The story in the gossip magazine included tantalizing tidbits such as a cancelled photo shoot and revisions for her wardrobe. Just one problem: It’s all fiction.
“None of this ever happened and shame on US Magazine for once again getting it all wrong. Jennifer is NOT pregnant,” stated Huvane.
One problem is that once a gossip magazine publishes a pseudo-report that Jennifer Aniston is pregnant, it quickly becomes a topic for new articles on the Internet. When OK magazine recently published supposed quotes from “inside sources” that the baby bump watch had begun, the Christian Post followed up with a detailed report about the alleged pregnancy on Sept. 19.
The most ironic part of these reports: Quotes from people who claim to be insiders, such as the one below. Surely someone who is close to Jennifer Aniston would protect her, not betray her, if she did become pregnant and wanted to keep it private for as long as possible?
“[Jennifer Aniston] is nearly three months along but doesn’t want the news to come out until she knows for sure that the baby will be okay,” the insider allegedly said.
How does Jennifer manage to maintain her sanity through all this gossip? She’s dedicated to yoga. Jennifer’s yoga instructor and friend Mandy Ingber, author of “Yogalosophy: 28 Days to the Ultimate Mind-Body Makeover,” told the Hollywood Reporter that Jennifer even does yoga sessions via Skype when she travels.
Kate Beckinsale also uses Skype to stay consistent with her yoga sessions, said Mandy. “Jen and Kate are very consistent. That’s why they like to continue to do their yoga practice, because it keeps them grounded. Staying present in a high-pressure situation where you have so much coming at you is gold.”
Jennifer is also consistent with her low carb diet. Talking with Yahoo recently, she admitted her fondness for bread and revealed why she’s banned it.
“I usually give myself bread on the weekends, but really, my body doesn’t love carbs. These days, if I was being super picky, I would love to drop 5 pounds. That is just where I have always been really comfortable at about 110 to 113 pounds. But it is harder at this age,” said the 45-year-old actress.
