Jessa Duggar must not be planning to cook very much when she’s a newlywed. The “19 Kids and Counting” star, who got engaged to beau Ben Seewald last month, is currently planning her Nov. 1 wedding, and that includes registering for those must-have household essentials.
On Tuesday, Us Weekly posted details about the third Duggar daughter’s wedding registry, which lists the couple’s wish list from Bed, Bath & Beyond and Amazon. And while there is a kitchen item or two on the list—a Bosch blender and a bamboo cutting board shaped like the couple’s home state of Arkansas, for example – the registry also requests a long list of restaurant gift cards from Outback Steakhouse, Applebee’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, Red Robin, Domino’s Pizza, Subway, Cracker Barrel, Panera, Ruby Tuesday, P.F. Changs and even Burger King.
Fans of the Duggar family’s TLC reality show already know that Jessa is not exactly fond of cooking. Past episodes of the show have featured the 21-year-old getting cooking lessons from her mom and grandmother. She even traveled to Hot Springs, Ark. to get cooking tips from her future sister in laws. (Seewald’s sisters helped her whip up his favorite meal, fettuccini Alfredo and apple pie.)
The two-cute couple recently dished on their upcoming wedding to People, revealing that most of the planning is complete. They also said that while they still have chaperones on their dates (the couple has vowed to save their first kiss until their wedding day), there are some perks for the person who tags along.
“We don’t have trouble finding chaperones,” Jessa revealed. “If we’re going out to a restaurant, we make sure they get a special dessert and have a fun time, too. We take good care of them.”
While the couple won’t need chaperones once they tie the knot, all of those restaurant gift cards would certainly buy a lot of dessert. Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald’s entire wedding registry can be viewed at The Knot.
“19 Kids and Counting” airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on TLC.
