What goes into sculpting those sleek red-carpet bodies? For an increasing number of celebrities, it’s a combination of CrossFit workouts and Paleo or low-carb diets for weight loss and health. And the stars who gravitate toward that combination range from studly actors to slender actresses.
Joe Manganiello, for example, has become famous for his dedication to working out and following a high protein low-carb diet. He is the author of “Evolution: The Cutting Edge Guide to Breaking Down Mental Walls and Building the Body You’ve Always Wanted (click for details).” Joining him on the CrossFit celebrity fan list is Channing Tatum, reported the Inquisitr on Nov. 5.
But CrossFit workouts aren’t just for guys. Kelly Clarkson, Madonna and Jessica Alba believe in the sculpting benefits of these plans. Jessica combines a Paleo low-carb diet with her CrossFit regimen.
To enhance her flexibility and balance, Alba also uses hot yoga classes, revealed “Perez Hilton” on Nov. 3. She shared a photo with a poetic description of the class via Instagram.
“We sweat we bent we we’re spent #hotyoga w@omarrlopez @lauren_andersen #cracklifeopen #stillgotmyhalloweentattoos #dontcare”
Another advocate of using yoga to balance her CrossFit training is Madonna, according to “People” magazine. At one point, she took yoga classes every day of the week.
“I could’ve been a member of Cirque du Soleil. It got to the point where I didn’t have a glass of wine and I had to go to bed early because everything was around my yoga,” confessed Madonna.
