Kate Middleton has been showing off her baby bump after the palace made the official pregnancy announcement that she is expecting her second child.
Kate was spotted at a charity event for the Action Against Addiction Gala in a black fit and flare dress by Temperley London. The woven nude look dress was altered from the runway and retails for around $960 dollars.
“During the time I have spent with clients and staff I have been privileged to see the phenomenal work which the charity undertakes to improve the lives of those affected by addiction,” Kate wrote in the program for Thursday’s event, held at the smart City of London Italian restaurant L’Anima.
On Tuesday 21st October, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge greeted The President of the Republic of Singapore and Mrs Tony Tan Keng Yam on behalf of The Queen at the Royal Garden Hotel, London as part of the State Visit. Their Royal Highnesses traveled with The President and Mrs Tan to Horse Guards Parade, where The President received a Ceremonial Welcome.
Kate made her first public appearance in a fitted suit designed by Alexander McQueen.
Here are some details about the meeting according to the Daily Telegraph.
Mrs Tan said she was glad Kate could make the engagement and the Duchess replied: “So am I. I’ve been looking forward to getting out of the house, that’s for sure.”
The Cambridges posed for an official picture with the president and Mrs Tan before sitting down to tea. The president commented on the view of Kensington Palace from the hotel, prompting the Duke to joke: “You can probably see into our bedroom window which is a bit worrying – I wouldn’t look too closely.”
The Duchess of Cambridge also attended the Wildlife Photographer of The Year 2014 Awards Ceremony at the Natural History Museum on Tuesday 21st October. Kaye Middleton wore an elegant Jenny Packham evening gown for the Museum’s Wildlife Photographer of the Year gala.
According to the official palace announcement the Duchess has been suffering from morning sickness during her pregnancy.
“The Duchess of Cambridge continues to be affected by Hyperemisis Gravidarum, but her condition is steadily improving.”
We love that Kate is taking fashion risks with her maternity style. This truly makes the Duchess a fashion icon.
The gender of the baby has still not been disclosed by Princess Kate who has not answered any questions during her recent public appearances.
