Kendall Jenner has been the object of many “ugly” rumors having to do with how she was treated at New York Fashion Week’s fashion show. Apparently, there’s speculation that many of the models were mean-spirited to the latest rising star of the Kardashian family. In a Sept. 28 report by U.K.’s The Mirror, momager, Kris Jenner, gives the lowdown on what really happened behind-the-scenes.
“I would like to set the record straight and say it’s 150 per cent not true.
“They have been so welcoming, especially at the Tommy Hilfiger show. At all of the shows, all of the girls have been so darling.”
In one report, a model allegedly put out her cigarette in Kendall’s drink while several other models made her feel “unwelcome” at NY Fashion Week. Everything went totally the opposite, according to Kris.
“It’s like a sorority. It’s really amazing and heartwarming the way they’ve welcomed her into their world and treated her like a sister.”
Kendall Jenner modeled designs for Tommy Hilfiger, Diane von Furstenberg and Marc Jacobs. Kris Jenner recalls how she and Hilfiger were laughing “about the press and how ugly rumors get started.” She continued that “they are complete lies and fabrications …”
In fact, Kris says her daughter was “treated like gold.”
Sugarscape cites In Touch magazine, in which an insider told them that other models appearing on the runway at NYFW didn’t feel Jenner “deserved to be there.” Rumor was, that the other models worked so hard to be there, that they felt upstaged by her presence; they saw it as being “unfair” to them.
According to her mom, Kendall Jenner was accepted by the other models and they all had a great time together.
