The Kris Jenner-Bruce Jenner divorce settlement is of major interest to the millions of Kardashian fans who want to know who gets what share of their $225 million family fortune. Although the couple had no prenup when they married, Kris and Bruce spent the past few months working out a divorce settlement which stipulates exactly who gets what, according to TMZ.com on Sept. 22.
The terms of the divorce settlement between Kris and Bruce Jenner and the division of property and financial assets were agreed upon by the couple months ago, according to RadarOnline on Sept. 23. Below is a detailed breakdown for everyone dying to know who gets what.
Bruce Jenner’s net worth is estimated to be approximately $100 million, while Kris Jenner is reportedly worth about $125 million. The Jenners never signed any kind of pre-nuptial agreement, and once Kris started earning money from managing the careers of Kim, Khloe and Kourtney, she set up her own bank accounts. According to friends of the couple, that was fine with Bruce. Since the couple maintained separate finances for years, there really wasn’t much to quibble about.
Neither Kris nor Bruce want to pay the other spousal support. Kris asked the judge to terminate Bruce’s ability to request spousal support, and Bruce had no problem with that. The only complications in the couple’s financial negotiations involved Kris’s financial interests in the Kardashian sisters’ many business deals of which Kris gets 10%. Kris agreed to give Bruce an additional $2 million of their joint assets in return for agreeing to waive any claims against future Kardashian endorsements or other business deals.
Kris Jenner will continue to live in the Kardashian-Jenner mansion in Calabasas. For an undisclosed additional amount, she agreed to buy out Bruce Jenner’s interest in the family home because she loves it had no intention of giving it up. Bruce will continue to stay in the Malibu beach house he got after the couple separated in June.
Bruce will reportedly walk away with $20 million in cash, while Kris will get $50 million. According to RadarOnline, both Kris and Bruce have various investments and money set aside for retirement worth an additional $10 million each. So they are both financially set for life.
Bruce and Kris will retain their own jewelry and other personal effects. Kris gets to keep five of the family’s luxury cars including a Rolls Royce, two Mercedes Benz and a Range Rover. Bruce will get two of the family cars, one of which is a Mercedes Benz.
Kris and Bruce will share joint physical and legal custody of their 17-year-old daughter, Kylie, who is the only one of their children who is still a minor. Both Kris Jenner’s divorce petition and Bruce Jenner’s response were filed on Sept. 22. Since a detailed divorce settlement has already been worked out, the divorce is pretty much a done deal.
