On the First Friday of each month, families can visit the Maryland Science Center for only $9 per person. The Maryland Science Center is open on the First Friday of each month for admission from 5 to 8 p.m. First Fridays are free for current members. Children under 3 are free. Admission for First Fridays includes entrance to the permanent exhibit halls, Planetarium, and IMAX Theater. The Planetarium presentations are at 6 p.m. The IMAX films are at 7 p.m. The Kids Room, The Shed, and SciLab close at 6 p.m. on First Fridays.
