This morning, Microsoft has announced a price drop of its Xbox One console for the Holiday Season. Starting November 2nd, you will be able to pick up a Xbox One for as little as $349 in the United States. The promotional pricing includes $50 off the console of your choice, including specific bundles. The Assassin’s Creed: Unity, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, and Sunset Overdrive bundles are included with this. “We want this to be an unforgettable holiday season for Xbox fans around the world,” said Phil Spencer, Head of Xbox. “Only on Xbox One can you play some of the most anticipated exclusives, newest blockbuster franchises and innovative independent games of the year. We’re pleased to start the season off early with an incredible portfolio that includes millions of hours of fun for gamers and their friends.”
If you want to throw in the Kinect, the systems will run you $449. The biggest bang for the buck looks to be the Assassin’s Creed: Unity bundle. This includes Assassin’s Creed: Unity as well as Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag on Xbox One. The Xbox One Assassin’s Creed Bundle with Kinect also includes Dance Central Spotlight. That’s three games right off the bat. The Sunset Overdrive bundle features the white Xbox One, a wireless controller, a digital copy of Sunset Overdrive, and also some special Day One edition in-game items. Lastly, the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare bundle features a custom console with a 1 terabyte hard drive. The custom console features a custom controller and a limited edition exoskeleton, plus a digital version of Advanced Warfare Zero Edition.
“Fans don’t have to wait for Black Friday this year to enjoy great savings on Xbox One. We’re offering our best price yet, with unprecedented choices and value, so more people can play on Xbox One this holiday,” said Yusuf Mehdi, corporate vice president, Microsoft. “We’re gearing up for one of our biggest holidays ever and we are thrilled to offer fans up to $150 in savings on Xbox One and some of the biggest blockbuster games of the season.”
