Midwest BunFest returns! On Saturday, Nov 8, 2014, the Ohio House Rabbit Rescue will again proudly host the largest rabbit festival and exposition in the Eastern United States. The only event of its kind in the Midwest, Bunfest is organized by the Ohio House Rabbit Rescue in partnership with rabbit rescue organizations across Ohio and surrounding states. This network of individuals, organizations and corporate and foundation partners comes together to share knowledge, educate the public, network, and improve quality of life for the house rabbit, the third most popular pet in America.
Midwest BunFest is fun for the entire family, including your pet rabbit – you may bring your rabbit, provided you do not think the noise and activity level will adversely affect him. Your bunny can visit the Bunny Spa for a nail trim, grooming and bunny massage, and then have his or her glamour shots taken by a professional photographer. You can shop for your bunny and yourself at the BunFest vendors and at the Hop Shop, and if you’re hoping to adopt a pet rabbit for yourself, you can meet with rescue organizations from across the Midwest! Don’t forget the highlight of the day: a full day of education sessions taught by nationally recognized rabbit veterinarians and educators certified by the House Rabbit Society.
