Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton divorce news headlines have resulted in an open response by Blake. While Blake’s choice of words in his response to the divorce news has shocked some fans, others feel that enough is enough, and that the country singer has every right to voice his frustration and to set the record straight, reports Hollywood Life on Oct. 3.
Headlines about the couple’s separation or even divorce have been money-makers on the internet for the past few months. Miranda and Blake, who began dating in 2006 and got married in 2011, have millions of fans and, of course, fans care and want to be informed.
In a May 2014 interview, Miranda talked about the divorce and pregnancy headlines that sooner or later reach the couple. “I think I’ve had like five sets of twins in the last two years, and we’ve been divorced four times, and one of us had a $100 million divorce.”
Back then, Miranda said that the couple laughs off those tabloid rumors and that she and Blake continue focusing their lives on their careers and their home in the small town of Tishomingo in Oklahoma. Miranda has a women’s western wear store in the town of about 3,100 people and after feeding their animals in the morning, she enjoys saddling up her horses. “I love the slow pace, the normalcy that it gives me.”
In regard to her weight loss, Miranda pointed out that age does have an effect on women, and is it a crime taking care of oneself? “It just feels like you can’t do anything for yourself anymore. Have you ever thought I might just be turning 30 and trying to get a little ahead of the game? Isn’t that just a normal thing to do?”
Six months ago, Miranda responded with humor on her Twitter page to the alleged separation and pregnancy rumors. “@blakeshelton: Me & @mirandalambert are reading about our separation. I hope I get all the liquor in the divorce!” AND the imaginary baby?!”
In her Billboard interview in May, Miranda described herself as “I’m just a Texas girl that speaks her mind, and sometimes that gets me in trouble.” But with the incessant divorce rumors continuing, Blake is joining his wife in speaking out his mind – and potentially shocking some fans.
In response to the most recent Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton divorce headlines, Blake wrote on his Twitter page on Oct. 3 the following words which for Miranda pretty much covered it all.
“Maybe because the divorce rate is so high the tabloids have just decided to play the odds with me and Miranda. Morons .. #eatadick”
