4J Studios has begun to focus their attention on the next major content update for all console editions of Minecraft now that they have successfully launched new versions of the popular sandbox creation title on the Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PS Vita. The developer teased a few images of the game’s next title update by releasing a new image on Oct. 31 that showed off some of the new content seen running on a PS Vita.
The latest screenshot tease revealed that both the Wither boss and bats will soon be heading to all console editions of Minecraft. These new features will be released across all platforms when the next title update becomes available for 4J Studios ports of the block-building game.
The newly teased content will be joined by the addition of horses which the developer teased through a similar photo late last week. Like many animals found within Minecraft, players will be able to tame and breed the new equine beasts. Once domesticated, horses can even be used as mounts to help traverse the voxel worlds of Minecraft.
4J Studios is slowly teasing what they plan to add to the next Minecraft console update over time so fans can expect to see more features announced in the future. The developer likely has plenty of time to make such announcements since a date has not yet been set for the upcoming update.
Minecraft is now available to console fans on Xbox 360, Xbox One, Playstation 3, Playstation 4, and PS Vita. All updates for every version will be worked on simultaneously.
