The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) supports more than 200 researchers who produce a wealth of expertise on breast cancer prevention, treatment, and research developments.
The foundation also fosters corporate partnerships and hooks up with more than 130 brands that share a burning commitment to ending breast cancer.
As they say on their website, “Breast cancer knows no age, gender or race.” A common cancer in women worldwide, it is the second most common cancer overall as nearly 1.7 million women around the globe were diagnosed in 2013, and incidence rates are on the rise.

USA Today says, “Bras do not cause breast cancer, a recent study says — despite widespread rumors claiming otherwise”. Apparently scientists in Seattle used research examining the habits of more than 1,500 post-menopausal women, with and without breast cancer. The researchers found that no aspect of wearing a bra (including its size, whether it’s underwire, how long it’s worn or the age at which women started wearing one) was associated with an increased risk of breast cancer.
Also, these facts about risk: exercise helps to prevent risk; they advise to check moles as the presence of 15 moles or more suggests an increased risk, and “Mammograms of seemingly healthy women reduce deaths from breast cancer by about 28%, according to a recent study from Norway.”

The website photo does not do it justice. This is a marvelous, happy print in predominately pink and white; and the flowers are pleasing and look very clean against any color wall. It would be really nice for someone’s office.
