Well all I can say is it’s about time! As much as the media has demogouged the issue and demonized the measly 5 million NRA Members it’s nice to see them fighting back. With well over 100 million gun owners in the United States which represents about a little over 1/3 the population. Despite the small number of NRA Members respectively at about 5 million you’d think the NRA had over 50 million members if it were left to the “Lame Stream Media” and their hype and hyperbole.
Bottom line is that it’s long over due and nice to see the Nation’s premier gun rights organization addressing the issues head on and using the airwaves to better inform & educate people about personal protection and gun rights. These videos will get folks thinking and engaged that many of the anti-2A laws just don’t work and actually create “Killing & Victim” zones.
There is absolutely NO REASON why Guns should & Could not be used to protect our country’s most “Precious” natural resource our children. We use guns in our society to protect the President, Senators, Banks, Malls, Movie theaters so why not our Children? Why not at their school where they are the most vulnerable? What if a terrorist group held an entire school hostage and started decapitating kids until their demands were met? Would that make it any different? Of course not! So why should we treat it any different.
There has been a lot of failure for Michael Bloomberg and his Anti-Gun organization lately! He has had a nice share of setbacks and rightfully so, and so will be returning to run his company. One has to wonder if the NRA ads had anything to do with hastening his return!
NRA goes head-to-head against billionaire Bloomberg’s anti-gun campaign
The National Rifle Association and its 5 million members are attempting to win over US public opinion in the debate over guns against the efforts of former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg as midterm elections approach.
Bloomberg, the media magnate and former New York City mayor, has unveiled his latest attack on American gun owners, taking the battle to where it will be felt the most: corporate profits.
Here’s one of the articles announcing Michael Bloomberg taking the first shot against the law abinding gun owners all across this great country:
Anti-gun billionaire Bloomberg takes on NRA
Bloomberg’s well-heeled anti-gun organization, Everytown for Gun Safety, has begun asking all candidates for federal office in the midterm election about where they stand on gun issues. The right answers will win them support from a $50 million pot the former New York mayor personally has committed to bringing some sanity into the gun issue.
What are the chances Bloomberg’s new initiative will succeed after failing to win the compromise background check expansion? The NRA’s 5 million members provide a significant amount of clout after all. Unlike the first attempt, Bloomberg has merged several groups, including Mayors Against Illegal Guns and Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, into the Everytown group. The enlarged operation also is targeting state legislatures.
One of my favorite videos that the NRA launched is the one addressing the “Lame Stream Media”. It is great because it basically talks about how the media is only projecting a very one-sided view.
If you are going to watch one video while you are on their site watch a few and make sure to post your comments below.
Very curious to hear what folks think about the NRA’s ad campaign to counter the “Blooming Idiot”!
