During NYFW, celebrities and fashion insiders were treated to a great lineup of lounges. Some of them included the ELLE & SWASH Fashion Refresh Lounge, the Town & Country Atelier, The Daily Front Row’s Luxury Media Lounge, the Runway Retreat, the Panasonic Beauty Bar, and the Polyvore Style Lounge. They were perfect for relaxing, unwinding, and recharging between shows and presentations.
At the Elle & SWASH Fashion Refresh Lounge, guests enjoyed a day of pampering. The event took place at Salon SCK, and it offered hair styling and makeup services. The latest issues of ELLE were dispersed throughout the venue. Guests were also able to learn about the quick and efficient way that SWASH cleans and protects clothing. Notable guests in attendance included Natalie Suarez and Leslie Kirchhoff.
The Town & Country Atelier at The Highline Hotel offered a great place to relax, enjoy the latest issue of Town & Country, and enjoy a glass of bubbly. GLAMSQUAD provided makeup touch ups with Elizabeth Arden makeup, and there was also a temporary jewelry tattoo station. Guests were also given Elizabeth Arden samples.
Another great lounge, was The Daily Front Row’s Luxury Media Lounge at the beautiful Park Hyatt New York. Guests enjoyed massages provided by Exhale Spa and makeup, nails, and hair touch up services, all provided by Gotham Beauty Lounge. They also enjoyed cappuccinos, VOGA wine, and a range of snacks, as they relaxed and took a look at the latest issue of The Daily.
The Runway Retreat hosted by VOGUE and which took place at Bar Boulud, offered guests a chance to mingle with representatives of different brands and also get pampered. Guests got their makeup done with Urban Decay, got hair touch ups, and received samples of Ralph Lauren Midnight Romance. TOMS was showcasing its latest line of sneakers, coffee, and eyewear. Brahmin was displaying its Fall handbag and bangles collections with rich colors and textures. Urban Decay also showcased its latest eye shadow palettes.
The Panasonic Beauty Bar at Salon SCK was also a great venue for pampering. The Salon SCK team provided dry hair styling services with the Panasonic nanoe™ Hair Dryer and Flat Iron. Manicures were provided by Jamberry Nails and makeup services were provided by GIELLA Custom Blend Cosmetics. Small bites and cocktails were served, as attendees learned about Panasonic’s innovative hair styling, shaving, and camera products. Notable attendees included Carmen Electra, Jenny McCarntney, Jesse Metcalfe, Michelle Williams, and Nina Garcia.
Lastly, the Polyvore Lounge at the Library at Soho House was a perfect spot for recharging. Guests got their hair styled by the DreamDry team and their makeup done by Sephora makeup artists. They also had enjoyed small bites and coffee while they checked out products from Sephora such as mirror compacts, tweezers, and blush compacts. Guests also had the opportunity to learn more about Polyvore, and do some browsing and shopping on the brand’s social commerce website via iPads that were provided at the venue.
