The Chicago Family Fun Expo will be presented at the Dupage Expo & Convention Center in St. Charles on October 18th and 19th. Besides being able to spend some quality time as a family, you will be able to teach your children the importance of giving by telling them how the Expo will be giving 50% of all proceeds to local non-profit organizations.
Teaching your children to give is a lifetime lesson. It is important to display that giving can be fun – just like it will be at the Chicago Family Fun Expo. You can tell them that the primary goal of the Expo is to assist Non-Profits through the promotion of hands-on activities and fun shows and seminars throughout this Saturday and Sunday in mid-October.
Oftentimes, non-profit organizations are forced to work on a shoestring budget. Their hope and goal is to accomplish great things, but they have to work mighty hard in order to do so.
With over 30 years experience, the Chicago Family Fun Expo knows all about the hard work that goes into making dreams and goals successful. So to help, they work with larger companies in order to sponsor non-profit organizations with a free booth at the expo. Further, they help create cash flow through their own type of fundraiser by couponing where 50% of the gate goes back to the participating non-profit organizations.
By explaining all of this to a younger person, it instills the sense of giving that this world needs right now. By taking them to have fun, you are not only creating a lasting bond between you and your children, but showing them that helping others can be simple and just as fun!
Both retail and boutique businesses will present their wares; everything from winter outings to cool mystery parties, bowling, scouts, face painting, swimming and much more!
There will be exhibitors to showcase a variety of interests that your children will love; everything from magic (on Saturday) to fashion to theater, cheerleading and martial arts. For animal lovers, Jim Nesci and his Cold-Blooded Creatures will be there on Sunday.
The whole idea behind this weekend is fun and learning. When you take your children to participate, you will be teaching them a valuable life lesson as well as creating great family memories. Remember that the more time that you spend with your children now could potentially lead you to a lifetime of building memories thanks to the special bond you are creating. Don’t miss out!
