The Oklahoma beheading this week is not just “workplace violence,” suggests the anchors on “Fox and Friends Weekend” Saturday morning. This man recently converted to Islam and made mention of Islam as he cut off the head of a co-worker. The man went on a stabbing rampage at the Vaughn Food Distributing Company in Moore after he was fired from his job there. The anchors on “Fox and Friends Weekend” on Saturday Sept. 27, were adamant that this was not “workplace violence” while others are calling this horrendous beheading the face of “homegrown terrorism,” the folks on the curvy couch say it is an “act of terrorism.”
The FBI is probing Nolen’s recent conversion to Islam in regards to this beheading, according to the Fox News website today. A gruesome and bloody scene unfolded in an otherwise quiet distributing company in the suburbs of Oklahoma City on Thursday after a man was let go from his job.
The man, Alton Nolan, 30, left the building and drove his car into two vehicles. Witnesses say he crawled out of the wreck and went back into the building with a knife. Nolan first came across Colleen Hufford, 54, and he started to stab the woman.
He then severed Hufford’s head and made his way over to Traci Johnson, stabbing her numerous times before being shot by another co-worker who is also in law enforcement, reports MSN News today. Witnesses say this man was on a rampage and he wasn’t going to stop, but thankfully there was a hero in the building.
In a news conference yesterday, Police Sgt. Jeremy Lewis had to get the harsh and unbelievable words out for the media, “Yes she was beheaded,” he said when speaking about the horrendous act done to Hufford at the hands of this seemingly mad man.
If it wasn’t for Mark Vaughn, who is the company’s chief operating officer and a reserve county deputy, this most likely wouldn’t have stopped at two stabbings. Vaughn saw the bloody carnage and ran and got his gun. He shot Nolan, stopping the bloodshed and saving Traci Johnson’s life.
Johnson is recuperating in the hospital today and so is Nolan, who was shot twice. The man who beheaded his co-worker is in stable condition today.
Nolen had recently converted to Islam and he had been on a mission of sorts to try and get his co-workers at Vaughn to also convert, but he wasn’t getting any takers. The FBI was called in to investigate after the beheading because of Nolan’s reference to Islam while going on this murderous rampage.
Law enforcement is adamant that this is “workplace violence” and not terrorism, but others see this differently. These attacks were random, Nolan stabbed the first people to cross his path this wasn’t a planned targeted killing, police report.
Saad Mohammad, a spokesman for the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City, told NewsOK.com, “They have this ISIS thing on their minds and now this guy has brought it to America,” Mohammad told the website.”
Nolan’s Facebook page is riddled with Islamic extremism, so why can’t we call it what it terrorism? What happened in Moore, Oklahoma this week would be “an act of terrorism,” according to the Fox News anchors live.
