Mercury News has chosen “Once Upon a Time” Season Four premiere as top pick for tonight’s viewing in an article published today September 28th, 2014. After the summer hiatus, fans have been gearing up for tonight’s episode, and meeting new characters who are directly from the beloved Disney film “Frozen”.
Earlier this summer, Georgina Haig had been cast as Elsa, the Snow Queen, and Elizabeth Lail as Anna, her naive but brave sister.
Adding excitement to the “Frozen” characters for fans, is the “Rumbelle” honeymoon scene which follows the anticipated wedding between Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle) and Belle (Emilie de Ravin). The Producers fashioned an iconic dance scene from Disney’s “Beatuy and the Beast”, sure to pluck fans’ heart strings tonight.
In an earlier article from Hollywood Report, Colin O’Donoghue, Jared Gilmore and producers Eddie Kitsis and Adam Horowitz dish on what fans are to expect during tonight’s “Once” return to television.
Jared Gilmore, who portrays Henry Mills-Swan, son to Emma Swan, adopted by the evil Queen, Regina. He also happens to be the grandson to Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle) and confided that in Season Four, Henry would be working with his grandfather in his Antiques shop.
“Henry is going to learn a lot this season, …. he’s going to learn what he’s meant for.” Gilmore confides.
And as fans learned in Season Three, the course of true love never runs smooth, and marriage never solves any problems, as Robert Carlyle tells interviewers. The end of Season Three thrilled fans with a wedding between Belle and Rumplestiltskin. Unbeknownst to Belle, Rumplestitlskin had kept a secret, concealing the dagger that controlled him after pretending to relinquish his power to Belle. He then killed the Wicked Witch (Rebecca Mader) violating his promise to spare her. Implications have flown since SDCC that Belle would eventually find out about his dishonesty.
“it’s going to be bad at the end of episodes nine and 10 for Rumple.” he confides.
Fans of the Evil Queen, Regina Mills, (Lana Parrilla) are interested to find out how the return of Robin Hood’s wife, Marian, will impact the couple, and how that will affect Regina’s redemption arc.
“We’ll see Regina really battling the two sides of good and evil.” Parrilla told Hollywood Reporter.
Viewers will be interested to see if Regina falls back on her old ways or if she continues on her way toward redemption.
“Once Upon a Time” returns tonight, September 28th, 2014 on ABC at 8 pm.
