Listed below is the Polk County arrest report for Monday July 21, 2014. The report includes a complete list of arrests, information regarding prior arrests, bonding information and available inmate photos. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Sheriff’s Office located in the county of the arrest.
The arrest reports within this list do not reflect the actual guilt or innocence of the individual or individuals listed. All parties are presumed innocent until they are proven guilty in a court of law. Not every arrest or charge leads to a conviction. A conviction or an acquittal will be determined by the court system.
The following individuals were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the embedded links within each list to view the complete prior arrests report. Links to arrests prior to 2009 will not be included.
Monique P Banks, 31, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with two counts party to a crime of theft by shoplifting. Banks was released on 7/22 after posting property bonds totaling $4,100.
Feliex Liona Delion, 25, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with public indecency and public drunkenness. Delion was released after posting two property bonds totaling $670.
Quinton Darrell Desouza, 22, of Dallas was arrested and charged with child molestation and statutory rape. Desouza remains in custody with bond denied at the time of this publication. See also (arrest details)
Travis Lavon Ferrell, 21, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with child molestation, statutory rape and sodomy. Ferrell remains in custody with bond denied at the time of this publication. See also (arrest details) (5/20/2014)
Phillip Dunte Johnson, 29, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, obstruction, seat belt violation and turn signal violation. Johnson was released on 7/23 after posting property bonds totaling $15,200. See also (4/23/2013)
Nora Lynn Morris, 43, of Buchanan was arrested and charged with conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine. Morris was released on 7/22 after posting a $2,100 property bond.
Ruby Myrick, 73, of Buchanan was arrested and charged with conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine. Myrick was released on 7/22 after posting a $1,100 property bond.
Curtis Alton Styles, 63, of Rockmart was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in Cedartown municipal court. Styles remains in custody at the time of this publication. A $600 cash bond has been set.
Betty Joan Waddell, 57, of Cave Spring was arrested and charged with theft by deception and theft by receiving stolen property. Waddell was released the same day after posting property bonds totaling $2,100. See also (7/25/2011)
