Listed below is the Polk County arrest report for Wednesday July 23, 2014. The report includes a complete list of arrests, information regarding prior arrests, bonding information and available inmate photos. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Sheriff’s Office located in the county of the arrest.
The arrest reports within this list do not reflect the actual guilt or innocence of the individual or individuals listed. All parties are presumed innocent until they are proven guilty in a court of law. Not every arrest or charge leads to a conviction. A conviction or an acquittal will be determined by the court system.
The following individuals were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the embedded links within each list to view the complete prior arrests report. Links to arrests prior to 2009 will not be included.
Eric Lee Acker, 44, of Cedartown was arrested on a warrant for probation violation. Acker remains in custody at the time of this publication.
Gregory Wade Ballard, 47, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended and following too closely. Ballard was released the same day after posting property bonds totaling $1,380. See also (5/2/2013)
Rudwaan Jesus Companioni, 41, of Snellville was arrested and charged with giving false information and obstruction of law enforcement officers. Companioni remains in custody at the time of this publication.
Donald Eugene Nichols, 51, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with theft by receiving, theft by taking and first degree burglary. Two previous property bonds were dropped upon his arrest. Nichols was released on 7/24 after posting property bonds totaling $14,900. See also (6/26/2014)
Richard Hardy Parker III, 43, of Rome was arrested and charged with battery under the Family Violence Act (FVA). Parker was released on 7/24 after posting a $4,100 property bond.
Richard Hardy Parker Jr., 71, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with battery under the Family Violence Act (FVA). Parker was released the same day after posting a $1,100 property bond.
Cassandra Irene Tilley, 35, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with fourth degree forgery and theft by receiving stolen property. Tilley remains in custody at the time of this publication. Property bonds totaling $2,100 have been set.
