Listed below is the Polk County arrest report for Sunday July 27, 2014. The report includes a complete list of arrests, information regarding prior arrests, bonding information and available inmate photos. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Sheriff’s Office located in the county of the arrest.
The arrest reports within this list do not reflect the actual guilt or innocence of the individual or individuals listed. All parties are presumed innocent until they are proven guilty in a court of law. Not every arrest or charge leads to a conviction. A conviction or an acquittal will be determined by the court system.
The following individuals were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the embedded links within each list to view the complete prior arrests report. Links to arrests prior to 2009 will not be included.
Arnaldo Juarez Castanon, 24, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with driving without a license. Castanon remains in custody at the time of this publication. A $2,600 property bonnd has been set. See also (9/25/2011)
Gustavo Escutia-Cruz, 21, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with DUI alcohol. Escutia-Cruz was released the same day after posting a $2,430 property bond.
Christopher Scott Estes, 42, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with simple battery under the Family Violence Act (FVA), third degree cruelty to children and obstruction of an officer. Estes was released on 7/28 after posting property bonds totaling $3,100.
Kody Shane Gamel, 21, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with theft by taking, driving too fast for conditions, DUI-alcohol and failure to maintain lane. Gamel was released on 7/29 after posting property bonds totaling $7,600. See also (10/5/2012)
Angel Alfredo Cinto Gonzalez, 29, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with driving without a license. Gonzalez was released the same day after posting a $1,400 property bond.
Wendy Bermaline Jackson, 46, of Resaca was arrested and charged with party to a crime of entering an auto and obstruction of an officer. Jackson remains in custody at the time of this publication. Property bonds totaling $3,100 have been set.
David Ronnie Jay, 44, of Aragon was arrested and charged with simple assault. Jay remains in custody at the time of this publication. A $5,100 property bond has been set. See also (5/8/2014)
