New downtown restaurant range is proud to host an exclusive Wine vs. Beer dinner on August 15, featuring libations from The Infinite Monkey Theorem and Former Future. Beginning at 6:30 and priced at $90 per person, this prix-fixe dinner will include five courses from range’s executive chef Paul Nagan, five wines paired by Ben Parsons (of IMT) and five beers paired by Sarah and James Howat (of Former Future). Guests will vote for wine or beer with each pairing, and at the end of the paired dinner, either Infinite Monkey Theorem or Former Future will walk away as the winner. Opened in May 2014 within the former Colorado National Bank building, range is located at 918 17th Street, and is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Under the direction of Executive Chef Paul Nagan, range offers cuisine that celebrates the cultural heritage and adventurous spirit of the American West, prepared with a modern day sophistication.
