There has been much talk over who will and who will not be appearing on the next season of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. With the Season 7 cast of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” locked in, viewers are anxious to see who will and will not be returning to the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” A flurry occurred last week when former castmates Adrienne Maloof, Camille Grammer, and Taylor Armstrong appeared at the annual White Party at the home of current castmate Kyle Richards. With those guests in attendance, audiences began to speculate that those three former “Real Housewives” may be making a reappearance as a cast member on the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”. People Magazine was quick to dispel that notion, but E! News reports on July 7 that this does not mean the fun ladies from the early seasons of the show will remain off camera throughout the next season. Meanwhile, across the country, relationships in New Jersey are experiencing a shakeup as well. We have learned that sentencing expected to occur today on July 8 for “Real Housewives of New Jersey” stars Joe and Teresa Giudice has been delayed due to a family tragedy unrelated to the indictments.
Things got very exciting last week when fans of former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” stars noticed some unexpected guests arriving at Kyle Richard’s annual White Party. Guests in attendance included Kyle’s standard crème de la crème of the Hills of Beverly, with a few notable exceptions.
This year, despite the multitude of relationship woes the ladies have experienced with each other through the years, a few former cast mates chose to bury the hairspray battles for at least one evening, to attend the Richards annual White Party. Guests in attendance included current cast members Brandi Glanville and Kim Richards, and E! News reports on July 7 that former cast members Taylor Armstrong, Adrienne Maloof, and Camille Grammer were in attendance as well.
This spotting has fueled speculation that the former cast members may be considering reuniting on the next season of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”. E! News reports that this is not the case, and that all of the original castmates of the show have been spotted at one time or another filming the odd scene or two for the next season. This move is being performed to illustrate that the relationships between the ladies is not as fractured as previous seasons have made them out to be.
One scene that fans can look forward to in the next season, according to E! News is a possible reunion between former frenemies Brandi Glanville and Adrienne Maloof. Long-time fans of the show will recall when that friendship came to an abrupt halt after Adrienne accused Brandi of publicizing the fact that she used surrogates to conceive and bear the twin boys she shares with her now estranged husband Paul Nasif.
During the ending of that season, Adrienne even went so far as to accuse Brandi of using this publicity wheel to break up her relationship with her husband Paul Nasif. As time went on however, more details chronicling the truth about the relationship between Adrienne Maloof and Paul Nasif came out, revealing that Brandi Glanville actually had nothing to do with that divorce.
E! News reports that Adrienne Maloof is prepared to put that water under the bridge and make nice with Brandi Glanville for the next season, and has already even filmed some scenes with her. The commonly known “Close Source” has told E! News,
“At the end of the day, neither one of them wanted to keep fighting. A lot was said, and I think they both realized they were each in the wrong. They first saw each other at Kyle’s White Party, then decided to meet up a few days later for a sit down. It wasn’t so much about becoming best friends or anything. It was just about making peace.”
Taylor Armstrong is another of the former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” who has experienced her share of relationship troubles. The truth about her marriage was one of the first in the “Real Housewives” franchise to be exposed on the national stage in a tragic way when her late husband Russell Armstrong committed suicide just after filming the last season Taylor appeared on. Since then, Taylor has been pulling together the pieces of her life and may also appear in cameo scenes on the next season of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
In terms of cast mates that will be returning full time, fans can expect Brandi Glanville and Kyle Richards to make a return to the next season of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” Lisa Vanderpump as well has hinted that she could return. Kyle Richards told E! News that working on relationships was her key goal upon returning this season.
Kyle said she would be focusing on, “mending some relationships and hopefully strengthening others” as the next season was filmed. Viewers will remember that her relationship with former long-time friend Lisa Vanderpump was nothing short of frosty throughout the last season.
Fans that enjoyed wataching Carlton Gebbia and Joyce Giraud make their debut this past season however will be disappointed, as neither of these two now former cast mates will be returning to “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” next season. Kim Richards, sister to Kyle Richards and a 1980’s TV star has also told E! News that she will be returning as well, and relationships are just as important to her as they are to her sister,
“Obviously it’s working because we come back year after year and we’ve developed some amazing friendships and we’re having a good time. So whatever we’re doing, it’s been working because we keep coming back.”
This is not the only cast in the “Real Housewives” franchise experiencing shakeups and tragedy. The cast of the Real Housewives of New Jersey is experiencing some shakeups as well, but more in the nature of the realities of life, rather than in those on reality TV. Joe and Teresa Giudice were expected to appear in court today July 8 to face sentencing for the 41 counts of fraud against them.
US Weekly reports that the sentencing date has been postponed, after Joe Giudice lost his father in a tragic and untimely manner on June 18. Us Weekly reports that Joe’s father, 63-year-old Frank Giudice died unexpectedly at the home of Teresa and Joe on June 18. As a result of the unexpected tragedy, the sentencing that was to occur today has been rescheduled to September 23.
Henry Klingeman, lawyer to the couple involved in the indictments that have shadowed “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” to date has told Us Weekly that, “Sentencing has been officially rescheduled to September 23. The family is mourning Mr. Giudice.”
The funeral for Mr. Frank Giudice was held on June 21 according to the Daily Mail. The Daily Mail also reports that those that were in attendance of the Giudice family funeral may provide a sneak peek at who will and who will not be returning to the cast of the next season of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.” Fans of the New Jersey ladies will meet two more come the July 13 season premiere, in the way of identical twins Nicole Mauriello and Teresa Aprea according to the Daily Mail.
The sentencing that will occur on September 23 for the Giudice’s is expected to tear apart the relationships in the family, most notably the relationships between parents and children. In addition to jail time, Joe Giudice is also facing deportation for the charges he has pled guilty to. If there is any blessing to be had for the Giudice family in light of their recent tragedies, they know with certainty they will at least be able to enjoy this Summer together, until the September sentencing date.
Both Teresa and Joe have pled guilty to the multiple counts of frauds against them. Us Weekly reports a comment from Teresa Giudice in terms of what the courts can expect to see from her come sentencing in September. On the day she pled guilty in March, Us quoted Teresa as saying,
“Today I took responsibility for a series of mistakes I made several years ago. I have said throughout that I respect the legal process and thus I intend to address the court directly at sentencing. I will describe the choices I made, continue to take responsibility for my decisions, and express my remorse to Judge Salas and the public.”
This is refreshing news for anyone that has a relationship with Teresa Giudice. Her appearance on “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” has chronicled multiple times where relationships have broken as a result of her inability to take accountability for any of her actions. One thing long-time viewers can attest to however is that one of the strongest relationships in any of the “Real Housewives” franchises is the marriage between Joe and Teresa Giudice.
Despite her inability to maintain friendships at a close range, this is a couple that has given rise to the true meaning of marriage, and are one of the few couples that has remained the most consistent in their marriage every day and every season and every episode that “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” has aired. They clearly love each other and are committed to sticking it through together, for better or for worse. While they may not have made the best financial decisions together, theirs is one of the only marriages that has survived the publicity circus that the “Real Housewives” franchise has elicited.
The Giudice’s apparently are not the only members of this cast setting this example. According to Radar Online, Teresa’s sister-in-law Melissa Gorga, who she has had a long running feud with, has decided to leave the past in the past. Radar reports that Melissa Gorga recently sat down with Star Magazine and was gushing over her now mended relationship with Teresa. Last week, Melissa reportedly told Star,
“Thank God, everything is great between us. As traumatic as their situation is, that’s when family puts the nonsense aside to be there for each other. My husband and I are here to support Teresa and Joe…There are things I’ve decided to let go, I believe in forgiveness.”
This won’t be the first time Melissa has been reported saying that, so time will tell when the next season of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” airs on July 13 on Bravo.
Who is your favorite Housewife? What do you think is going to happen to Joe and Teresa Giudice? Are you looking forward to the new set of casts?
