Yesterday was National Cat Day. In honor of that great occasion, Adobe Systems Incorporated, an American multinational computer software company headquartered in San Jose, California, got in on the action by helping cat lovers utilize social media channels, to blog and community feed about their felines entirely to cat videos.
Just over three weeks ago, Adobe launched Purrrmiere Clip at Adobe MAX. This new program allows users to quickly and easily create and share videos of their cute cat doing the most “cat-like” things possible. You may be able to see a cat sitting on a newspaper as if it is reading it, perhaps the cat will quizzically knock over a glass of water because it is trying to get to the liquid inside, or maybe you have a too-small box that the cat tries to fit itself into. Each of these experiences can be caught on video now that you can proudly share with the general public.
Many videos were published with various subjects coming through. Cat videos were amongst the most popular. To view these cute and popular videos, just type in the hashtag #MadeWithClip to browse what other users are uploading.
Adobe company representatives are super excited about each of the videos being submitted. Their intention in creating Premiere Clip was to make video creation less intimidating for people who have always wanted to make them but were overwhelmed by other professional editing software such as Premiere Pro.
With Clip, Adobe focused on lowering the barrier of entry while still being able to give people a gateway into a full feature set and the power behind Premiere Pro. Even professional video people are utilizing this great new product – cat lovers especially!
Cat parents are a special breed of people that want others to know just how terrific it is to have a cat as a companion. They feel that if others are able to see the benefits behind these furry friends, that they, too, will join in on the fun and perhaps more cats will be able to be adopted from rescue organizations and local shelters. In the end, they simply want to ensure that there are less homeless felines out there and more cats getting and giving love. Adobe agrees and is attempting to put the kibosh on cat homelessness by offering this product for people to share their great cat videos.
