In the last show, the reunion that we never thought would happen occurs as Emily sees that David is still alive while Victoria continues to manipulate him.
In this week’s episode, titled ‘Repercussions’, David starts to search for the answers about Amanda while Victoria and Emily struggle over David.
David is still questioning Amanda’s death wondering how it could have happened. David seems to still be enamored with Victoria.
It looks like Nolan and Emily really believe David’s story that he was tortured by Conrad and that he was at Grayson manor looking for him. Oh wait until they find out the truth that David already killed Conrad and was really looking for Emily Thorne.
We finally get a clue to why David hasn’t reached out to Jack since he came out. He does know about Carl and it seemed weird that he didn’t try to reach out with him but the reporter points out that maybe David blames Jack for Amanda’s death. Could make sense that he didn’t reach out to Carl yet.
Looks like David is not as safe as one might believe. A man with a moon on his hand just tried to run him over. Theory. That guy is working for Victoria or Conrad wanting to take down David.
Emily is determined to see David and will do anything to meet him, including asking Charlotte for help. Nolan sees a problem in this and wants her to stop acting without thinking.
Nolan asks Jack to talk to Emily and we finally find out why Jack has been avoiding David. He thinks that David blames him for Amanda’s death and he doesn’t want to have to lie to him about Carl not really being his grandson. David has been through enough as it is. Don’t think he can handle losing a grandson he thought was his.
Charlotte makes a move for Team Victoria, thus fooling Emily once again that Charlotte will ever be on her team. She is able to manipulate David against Team Emily because David got to meet Carl (who he thinks is his grandson). As a bonus, Emily gets trapped in a room with Victoria
While we didn’t get the big reunion of Emily and David, we got a mini one as David meets Nolan and they reconnect. Like Jack, Nolan doesn’t tell David the truth knowing that it’s Emily’s story to tell. But he does say that things that he hears about Amanda may have him question who she is. One of them being her living in the bar when she was with Jack.
Emily finally takes Nolan’s words to heart (after failing yet another plan) so she decides to plan out her next move with the help of Jack and Nolan. She is able to get Margaux to show what team she plays for (Team Victoria) while getting David closer to her as he gets his beach house back.
Charlotte finds herself in trouble (shocker there) as she is going home with the man that tried to run David over earlier in the show. When will she learn that drugs and alcohol don’t mix when boys are involved.
Margaux and Victoria strike a deal. Margaux gets an exclusive with David but only if Victoria approves it first. This way Victoria gets to tell her story essentially and keeps her name out of the press.
David is slowly starting to piece the life that Amanda had together and apparently figured out that someone he trust has betrayed him (he says so at the end of the show) and sets up the next show.
As a side note, Jack has to take a leave of absence at work because of the press. His captain doesn’t want the press bothering him at work.
Louise is still hung up on getting her revenge on Victoria that she sets her sights on Daniel to make it happen. Problem with that is that he is with Margaux.
Ben is opening an investigation of his own on Conrad’s murder. He thinks that Jack may be a suspect. Make sense since Conrad did kill his wife and brother and a few other things that he doesn’t know about.
In the next episode, David does his exclusive interview with Margaux and reveals a few secrets that no one saw coming.
